Support in ranked

I loved support while leveling up, but now I hate it. I believe that I can preform to par for my MMR in any lane. When I play ranked, sometimes I get support, and sometimes I don't. I can say with confidence, if I get forced to support in a ranked game, in all likelihood, I will lose. Every time I play support in a ranked, the game goes a little something like this:

MissFortune gets caught out before the game starts and feeds the enemy Caitlyn

MissFortune gets hooked by Thresh and trades deaths while I, Nami , finish Thresh off for the first kill on my team

Shaco comes and tries to gank but gets hooked and has to leave

Udyr comes to gank and kills MissFortune , while I remain alive to get the killing blow on Caitlyn

Cassiopeia sucks ass at CS, while Shyvana feeds the enemy Vladimir

While I'm back at base, MissFortune stays and gets caught out

Shaco tries to steal drag while invisible but messes the timing of the smite up

We lose mid and top towers and then 5 bot and Nami and MissFortune die; bottom tower lost

Nami steals drag with random ult, then everybody comes to drag and feeds while I back

<lots team fight losses here>

Shyvana repeatedly gets caught out way on the other side of the map while we turtle

Enemy team gets baron, we lose our inhibitors, GG.

EVERY TIME I SUPPORT. EVERY TIME. SUPPORT GETS ME CHAT BAN EVERY TIME.

My suggestion for lower MMR supporting is to go with a more carry oriented yet supportive Champion. Think Annie or Morgana. That way, you don't always have to rely on your allies to be doing well. Although if you're ALWAYS losing your games as Support, you'd have to think something is perhaps wrong with your own play. Don't always be too quick to shift the blame onto your opponents, and instead reflect on how you can do better. Also, playing Support does not get you chat banned. Your behavior does.

Ok annie or morg, but nothing else that you said is worthwhile. On the topic of chat bans, you are just inflaming and stating the obvious, and I wouldn't be posting this discussion if I found myself making mistakes as supp. Supp is undoubtedly my strongest role, and I almost always am top cs, kills, gold, you name it when I play any other role in my mmr. I bet it was you who voted me down.

you need to pick a support who can be mini-me to your ADC, be able to hold 1 v 2 for most of the match, in some cases. I played 350+ games as volibear last season, ended up with 50% w/l ratio... if I hadn't run volibear support, I know that my teams would have lost WAY more matches than won w/ me as fuzzy bear Volibear My ADC and lane would have been steamrolled without some muscle in the support role... be able to hold the line and melt some faces yourself, when they get close enough to your turret. Mini-me to ADC? LOL nami is a mini adc with her range, AA damage from her E, and her slows. You never made it out of bronze last season and you are bronze 4 right now.

I said I was slowly moving up, lessons learned last season reap slight benefits going forward. I'm offering advice to him, not you.
