Having trouble closing out games and winning when ahead, how do I fix this?

Ok, I recently began playing ranked again after taking a long, LONG break from it. And already I am noticing some issues, sure I sometimes have feeders or trolls but thats not my problem. The main thing that happens to me and my duo buddy that really REALLY pisses me off is we ALL get ahead early. And I mean all of us, every lane is doing very, very well. Sometimes I will go 7/2 10 minutes in it's nuts. We take some towers, take some dragons, take an inhibitor. Then... we just fall apart, and idk what we do wrong. There are games where everyone on my team is doing well and we still lose games because we just cant close it out, then the enemy team comes back and we lose. Me and my duo buddy try to tell them to group mid and end while we have an advantage but they don't seem to listen. Is there anything that I am doing wrong? Please check my OP.GG and look at my scores and stuff and try to tell me what im doing wrong. I really want to get better and anybody's suggestions is great.

Edit: Don't just tell me to "carry harder" because I don't really know what that means to its full extent, please go into that, explain to me what "carrying harder" means

It sounds like it's a macro problem. It happens a lot where if a team gets too far ahead they take objectives too fast for the whole team to stay on the same page and there tends to be this lull where people aren't sure where to go or what to do next because lanes are pushed and nothing is up. That's when the stupid ideas come in and mistakes are made across the map.

People get picked and slowly the enemy team gets ahead

And you see this happening but you can't stop it because now they have the momentum and your teammates are getting frustrated and you feel like you can't do anything, and slowly they win the game you thought was supposed to be an easy win.

Yup, I know that feel.

Only way to get around it is to keep rotating, and keep everything warded so you can make smart picks without getting caught out. Split push strategically or group so your team can siege a tower while a lane is pushing into a tower on another side of the map and work off that, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving. That lull kills games. The lull lets the other team catch up. It can't be helped in a lot of games because you can't control other people but it's worth a shot

But see that's our problem, we push to killing an inhibitor, then we all subconsciously back off, is there any way to convince my teammates to just push and end?

i dont think your team mates will back up since they are doing what they think is about right to win the games , take obj and rift heralds and push towers , or amke the difference yourself , if not well pick a champ that you can push for example YI exellent and punishing late game for carry and win

for you elo honestly just play simple champions with strong kits that allow you to delete people, solo kill or force 2v1,3v1 scenarios that's one of the best ways to win also farm hard to explain all of it in text

Keep rotating turrets and inhibs and siege them. I just had a game where it was a stalemate for a long time until we were able to finally get baron against their massive waveclear and just destroy their turrets (in hindsight i should have kept poking the tower down whenever i could have). take one tower, rotate and siege the next (Hey there Caitlyn)

Stay in your goddamn lanes. Last thing you want to do is fight 5v5 under a freaking tower. You're ahead, stay ahead, don't give the enemy a chance to comeback through meaningless fights. No fucking reason to dive for ONE tower in what I assume is 90% the midlane one when their are 2 other lanes with twice as much towers to get.
