Should I be worried for Diana?

So, with all of these changes, should I be worried for Diana's viability as an assassin? She's currently balanced and a great pick in my opinion, but will that change with this coming assassin update? Talon gets to ignore walls, LeBlanc gets to have 20+ possible combos, Kat now has a lot more versatility. Still, Diana is untouched. She remains a pretty one-trick champion with only one predictable combo. Up until now, that's been okay, but with these new changes I feel she's going to fall behind. She's going to be outclassed in mobility, versatility and probably damage. I'm not calling for a rework, but certainly there are aspects of her kit that could use improvements that will allow her to keep up with the competition, especially her almost-useless E.

What do you guys thing is going to be Diana's state in the future? Should we be worried about her getting outclassed? Will she remain a solid pick or will she just pale in comparison to what other assassins are getting?

She'll probably pale in comparison to assassins because she isn't an assassin. She's more of a diver.

If you really enjoy playing the champ don't worry about it, you'll figure out ways to keep doing what you do. Riot doesn't make a habit out of nerfing champs to the point of UN-viability. She'll be fine

Well diana isnt an assassin so the comparison between her and the other assassins is kinda strange

And you could argue shes built to burst people like an assassin but im pretty sure that playstyle is getting removed in the innevitable diver roster update

Arguably the Assassin Update will push her towards building like a true diver, Rod of Ages and Nashors being even more core then before. As much as people build her as an Assassin she has a better win-rate when built as a diver. The sustained damage she receives from her passive over-takes the damage dealt by her abilities. Ult works effectively with burst, but you're often too squishy to live long in teamfights.

She's already being pushed out of mid-lane and back into the Jungle as of recent, and with the upcoming group rework it's likely she'll be pushed there indefinitely as was originally planned.

If you think Diana's E to be useless you're not using it correctly, it has an innocuous amount of uses. Not to mention being without your E whilst playing Jungle Diana is close to near impossible to pull off.

The mixed damage and slight aoe delete is what makes her stand out

A lot of the assasin changes seem designed to prevent them from instantly deleting opponents. Diana can still do that though. Diana also does well into a lot of assassin matchups because of her high damage but increased tankiness. I don't think the assassin update will hurt her too badly.

On an unrelated note, Diana's E is considered a hard CC so there's a chance that bruiser Diana builds with courage of the colossus may become more viable.
