Assassin Mid against Poison hlp...

Ok so i'll just get into what i need help with.

In a match i was playing (team builder), i went Kassadin mid. My opponent was a Cassiopeia. I could not really lane early game against her and even late game i had troubles (more over the fact Shaco kept camping mid but i couldn't keep up great vision and our jg was always too busy farming monsters to really gank or counter gank in mid so it was more so lack of good teamwork). How can I, as Kassadin, fight against the Queen of Poison early game? I really want to learn so i can improve as Kassadin.

Wow, what a dick move to throw your Jungler under the bus like that hahaha.

Boots and/or MR early helps tremendously. Kassadin isn't so hot pre-6 so unless you time your Spell Shields against her poisons perfectly, you tend to lose trades bad. Focus on farming up early and practicing those dodgeball skills.

Eh, jg didn't really gank for anyone (Rammus). And when he did, he had to retreat quickly or die. It was our top and bot that were practically winning their lanes. Plus we were constantly being 1v2 or 1v3 in our lanes. So we just didn't have teamwork.

So dodge the wrench, gotcha XD

Okay, so Kassadin has a weak laning phase. You're not gonna win your lane without a lot of help. So, what you should do is let them push in a bit so you are near your turret, and farm in relative safety. Once you've built a bit of power, shove them out (with jungle help) and look to roam. Use successful roams to either snowball your team or take objectives.

That's the general idea, at least. Versus the snake lady, I would advise an early roam because she can punish your last hitting so well. Team up with your jungler and invade at the second buff or something. Hope this gives you something to consider.

It does. I did get told that Zed is strong against Kass too but i was able to go 2/4 against him which isn't too bad i think.

Max your Q and make damn good use of it, she is all magic dmg so it will go quite far. Try to avoid getting poisoned as best as possible, you should be able to survive the lane-phase with your Q magic shield. After that you can probably fake an all in but quickly turning away after you blink onto her (she should wiff her ulti from here) then proceed to finish your combo. I'd be careful doing this given kassaddins weak early game, but if you manage to get an advantage via 1v1 trade or jungler assistance, just keep in mind to turn away when you see her about to ult you. If she gets her ult to stun you, you're probably screwed.
