"GL HF"
Good luck.. Why do players say this in-game? To the enemy team? To their team mates? Are they saying 'Good luck, hope you win' or are they saying 'Good luck, hope no one loses it for you, or disconnects', because that is the only thing I hope for in a game. Good team mates.
Isn't that what everyone wants on a team? In any game, any sport, they want friendly and committed team mates that will give their all to achieve victory? They don't have to be nice, though it'd be nice if they were, but they don't have to be. They don't have to be good, though it'd be good if they were, but they don't have to be. They don't have to be much.. **all I ask is that they are committed to playing the game for as long as it takes to finish, and to stay motivated that entire time. **
That being said, why is there currently more focus on getting pitch perfect balance in a game, rather than a healthy team-environment? Some of these balance changes are what causes toxicity too, so can we get the more important basis of every game down BEFORE we get into specifics? Please Riot, I'm not asking for much, I don't care if there is 7 op champs and only 6 bans, I don't care if Kalista can out smite the jungler, I don't care that flash is taken EVERY SINGLE GAME. I don't care about that.. and in reality, though they might not realize it, a lot of other players don't care either.
All I care about is getting friendly, committed and motivated team mates that will do everything in their power to make the game enjoyable and to win. Without those team mates, the phrase "GL HF" has empty meaning, as there is no fun without those team mates.
Thanks.
