My question is this if your in a match and get into a very late game do you sell off an item to swap for more of something else if you notice the other team is too, lets say magic resistant or too damage resistant?

IF you have the gold, no reason to not adapt to what the enemy has as long as it's not at the detriment to another important stat. Sometimes, I will buy a ZZrot, place it, resell it and buy back my other item. Can do stuff like that with other actives as well.
