Can we please re-add an ad scaling on his w please?
I mean like change it to like 1%base damage (old ad scaling) (Ap scaling) With that you'd be able to start the 2% like it is now and scale
I honestly feel it's so much better to get a few attack speed items then going ap form there then getting more ad as kog maw at the moment
Erockandroll1 votesI don't really think of scaling as the major concern. partially because his ability works better with on hit than with any raw damage stat.
That said. The AP/AS build seems better just because those items wern't completely gutted. BotRK got nerfed, Wits end got nerfed. (arguably both items worked too well with Devourer.) And then the raw AS from Hurricane got nerfed in favor of crit chance. Making the most powerful on hit items at the moment, Rageblade, and tooth. Which would seem to better support an AP build.
Then again, if they say, altered how his W interacted with crit chance. He might be able to get away with building the more standard AS items, instead of having to rely on AS/onhit items.

However if you don't do well in lane you will literally get murdered by everyone and their grandmothers.
XeroKimo1 votesI see kog totally viable yea, but as an adc, he gears more towards ap to scale to late game,
If you don't want to w, you are at a 500 range without mobility and reliable range poke damage,
If you w late game, 2% max hp deals very little damage and you deal 55% of your AD as damage per auto, sure you got double the attack speed, but you do have to stay still in order to make it effective or else it doesn't do that much damage on to anyone
If I were to get a few attack speed items, mainly I go bortk nashors rabs, void, and runnans as my build, I can triple that 2% max hp and be more hybird damaged like shyv, but as an adc, he should scale more with ad not ap.

8% Max HP is a ton with 5.00 Attack speed.
