Can you make Zilean's Ult feel less bad

I'm by no means saying that Zilean's ult sucks, but Zilean's ult is confusing for other players. When I cast it on myself I know it will rez me and I can start acting suicidal to take advantage of the rez. but when I cast it on another player suddenly they have to change their mindset mid fight from " make sure you do anything but die" to "I should just let myself die". Often when i cast my ult on another player but they survive, i feel like I've wasted my ult, how is that they right feeling to have? Also even if they do survive I might suggest that they suicide on a wolf camp to get the health back and they will act like im crazy even though they could save time and get back in the fight by just dieing.

I don't know its just that it feels counter intuitive and i know Riot could do better with it.

I feel like since they nerfed the ult's lasting time by 2 seconds, they could add a 1 second delay to the ultimate when casted on allies above 30% health. Ie, it gets a fancy "ulting you" animation for 1 second and THEN the 5 second timer begins. Just to give your allies a moment to process.

ya, just some kind of mental cushion for the player so that I don't feel like I wasted 120 seconds of cooldown for the ult to effectively do nothing.

There's a pretty obvious visual effect on your ally's screen. If they don't know how your ult works, that's their fault. Everyone should know what that ult does by the time they hit level 30.

there are 124 champs now, can you honestly say that you know whatever single ult does?

Passives and less iconic abilities can end up as ''what does it''.

Ult are extremely iconic, and already Zilean has a very unique Ult (F U you Ekko) and very recognizable.

The problem is that people have the instinct to run when low, and forget that Zilean is actually there. Plus, many people play pretty alone, and dont like to depend 100% on another player.
