@Stashu SIMPLE Cassiopeia Changes to Please Everyone!

Hey Stashu,

I want to start by saying that 4.21 was a step in the right direction IMO. I really enjoy the updates we have seen for Cass recently. Thanks for taking the time to work with us and great job so far.

The only issue that people feel has not been addressed is her "Poison Mage" playstyle taking a backseat to her APC cabilities.

This suggestion is an improvement upon 4.21 Cass keeping everything she already has.

Suggestion for a simple AND INTERESTING fix:

Khazix Give Cass 3 evolution options while only allowing her to keep 2 in one game similar to Khazix

  1. Noxious Blast Evolved: Now deals 20% more damage as a base and causes a cloud of poison to remain in the area and disperse into a larger area before disappearing after a short duration. Poison amp on E proc nerfed to combat higher base damage: 20% on 1 stack, 30% with 2

  2. Miasma Evolved: Miasma becomes stickier and grows larger. Champions who get caught in the middle "sweet spot" of Miasma are rooted in place for a short duration.

  3. Twin Fang Evolved: Twin Fang spell vamp increased (subsequently removed from passive)

These evolution points can be given out at levels 6 and 12 with the upgrade of her ultimate and allows Cassiopeia to evolve differently depending upon what the situation calls for. I'm sure some number adjustments may be in order, but these are just ideas to help the poison fantasy come across without giving her too much of an early game.

Level 6 is the perfect time to add power to Cass. Early game is coming to a close and power levels are beginning to pick up on all champs.

I really think the evolution path is the way to go with this one. It will give every Cass player more options and add to her "poison mage" and APC fantasy.

Thanks again for taking the time to work with the community Stashu.

We are all on the same team, we just forget sometimes.

Evolution points? WTF?

You understand Riot has made it clear they are not reworking the passive? Why make delusional thread about how a new passive would be a better one?

Not to mention, evolution points?

Don't get me wrong, it might be a nice idea, but it's not gonna happen. Why waste time?

never said a thing about changing her passive except taking away the spellvamp on her E to make it an option....

Evolution points is just a base phrase. Say Cassiopeia embraces her curse altering her power.... ahem evolving it.

I think Cass is doing well as she is now, but the poison mage fans still want her poison to shine brighter than it does currently.

there's been crazier ideas suggested. This seems like a pretty simple way to give the player options for a better resolution than one playstyle getting canned.

Also not being delusional, but offering suggestions to help the situation for the poison fans. I actually am fine with how she is now, but that shouldn't be enough

All Cass players should be able to enjoy her even if I don't agree with their playstyle. So I don't think it's so much delusional as much as it is trying to find a middle ground.

Let me explain something to you, the people complaining about her not being a poison mage just want a champ who can shot out spammable Q's at long range with little interaction between themselves and their lane opponent. Cass has nearly the same "poison" power as she did pre-rework, except now for her to hit that same level of dmg, or comparable, she needs to interact by getting in closer proximity of her opponent.

That's all there is to this.

And unfortunately, you are being delusional. You are asking for her "rework" yet again.

I would be 100% fine with Cass staying how she is quite honestly.

I prefer current Cass to the old one, but it is still not fair that plenty of Cass mains lost what they loved about her ("toxic" gameplay aside).

I do not want a rework, but every other thread on forums claims she is no longer the champion that they loved to play or that her theme is not emphasized in her kit or current playstyle.

They do not care about viability as much as they care about character cohesion and theme.

They lost the identity of the champion they loved.

Negating others' opinions as "delusional" will get you nowhere in discussions.
