Question about the Lp gain loss system.

I was curious as to why i gain from 18-21 lp from a win, and what decides it?

Also, Why is it everytime i loose its between 21-24 lp?

Wouldn't it make sense for you to loose less lp when you loose that the amount you gain. For example maybe 15-18 lp lost from a lose and maybe 20-23 gain from a win.

I was in a 4 streak and gained i think 18-21-20-18 then i lost and was revoked 23.

It seems like it might be Teemo for the good players.

It's based off of your MMR, if you're playing against players with higher MMR than you have - you will gain more for a win and lose less for a loss. On the other hand, against players with lower MMR gives you the opposite effect. So long as you consistently win 55-60% of your games, you will climb the ladder.

first off its not "LOOSE" its *Lose, btw you should be happy, try win 11 lose 25.

It's based on your hidden MMR. Your hidden MMR fluctuates at a greater rate than your LP tends to fluctuate, meaning that if your hidden MMR is lower than it should be for your LP you'll gain less and lose more, and vice versa for higher MMR.

Of course, the exact amount you gain/lose depends on the average MMR of your team vs the average MMR of the enemy team, with your own individual MMR factored in there somewhere (I think more weight is put on your own MMR vs the enemy team MMR but I'm not sure).
