Improvement Tips for a Gold Player

Hi guys,

I'm a Gold 3 mid lane main. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any good tips or advice on how to improve/climb.

I think I'm decent/good in early game/laning phase and cs-ing. However, I find I'm pretty shit at roaming so any tips on this are welcomed. I also tend to play more immobile mages (currently main-ing Vel'koz and Anivia and in the past I've main-ed Xerath, Kennen, Orianna.)
