I never had problems with Graves until a few patches ago where Riot did his W to automatically black-screen you...

so they can force him into the jg role like theyve been doing since his rework, the slow helps him gank. They need to just revert him to be a bot lane adc again and just tune him from there so he's not too much like lucian

Actually 5 patches ago he was nerfed. Before 8 Patches ago he was buffed very slightly and even after the buffs was sub 50% win rate sub and like 6% pick rate.
Graves didn't become popular until 8.10 which is when the Jungle got gutted harded then any role in history and a few champs like Graves and Xin that have strong early clears and need gold more then XP got better relative to other Junglers, but were undeniable weaker then before compared to every other role.

ForFoxSakes1 votesThey used to go duskblade so it'd proc if you got smoke screened, but since Stormrazor came out it's by far better. Graves essentially has 1-2 flex slots. Going both is really stupid, makes him way too squishy
Stormrazor synergizes w phantom dancer way better too, no one gets duskblade on him anymore

When you're like a full item ahead or slightly ahead and against a 5 squishy comp you can, but it's not even close to standard on him.
BugsLivesMatters1 votesHonestly, as annoying as he is, the whole "I shoot twice and you die" play style isn't what bothers me. It's the cancerous graves mains that are literally incapable of NOT taking your entire jungle when you go to gank a lane.
I get tilted, go and take his jungle camps as a massive F U and then he shows up and two shots later, "You Have Been Slain".[slayer-jinx-unamused]

BugsLivesMatters1 votesNever said he was op, and I wasn't even complaining about his two-shot potential. I merely stated that that is what he does. My complaint was about the obnoxious players that main him always stealing jungle camps, because it is annoying as all hell. And warding the jungle isn't going to stop anyone from stealing my camps when I'm on the other side of the map ganking another lane, so please don't bother counter-arguing with "buy wards".
Graves isn't op, and even if he was, I don't abuse broken champions. I try to have fun and get better at the game, I have my own playstyle and pool of champions I enjoy.
