Why does Akali actually still exist?

I know it's probably a meme by now like people hating Yasuo/Zoe, but seriously the champion is so stupid and unfun to play against, and you can't even play against her on certain champions just due to how certain champs work. Honestly nobody likes playing against this stupid true stealth or whatever after they JUST split up stealths into categories and everything worked a certain way. Now we have to deal with a champion that has true stealth and 4 dashes. Why?
