Question, I just got a free skin?

So I just bought 5 chests. Got 4 champions that I own "weeewt -.-" but I also got zombie brand :D. And earlier I got spirit guard udyr from a free chest. So I disenchanted udyr, I don't play him and then I upgraded the brand skin. But I got a message "congratulations you recieved a free skin from riot" and was gifted pentakill sona. Why was I given a skin? o_o'

With the Draven event, we also got ''Dravens spinning axes'' Whenever you get a legendary skin (You can buy it or you can Craft it from Hextech crafting) you'll also get a mystery skin. Zombie brand is legendary c: summoner 31
