a good win rate for a champion is 50% but kalista is normaly sitting at 45% http://www.lolking.net/champions/kalista#statistics not many people play her and also shes kinda just.... outdated. she just doesn't fit the play style of newer adc's, she kinda relies on her passive like most new champions, aurilian sol and jhin but she just does nowere near as much damage as them and takes way more skill. I cant really explain it but kalista is one of the worste adcs atm.

The problem with Kalista is that she's very hard to balance. She's either good for normal play and broken for proplay or useless.

Yes.She is weak for a long time.

She's basically getting the same kind of attention as Azir: If she's even moderately good to the Average player, she's a god for High-Tiers.

I agree she needs a buff, and I think the best solution would be to revert the auto attack nerfs and attack speed nerfs, and in exchange remove the extra jump distance she gets with boots so she's less of a pain to actually get on.

Her problem has always been how hard it is to actually catch her, so instead of hitting her in unreasonable places (like this 90% AD auto like what the fuck was Riot smoking?) make it so she can be reasonably caught by someone who's not named Ryze.

To be honest, I'd rather not see Kalista be mostly pick/ban in all pro regions again, just like she was for all of S5 and early S6. I especially don't want to see it just because her win rate in Solo Queue is low, which is normal for utility-based and/or difficult champions. If you want to make her stronger for the average player, rework her to take away her utility and give her back AD/attack speed/full AA power.

Kalista was never a very well designed champion. She was clearly designed heavily with LCS in mind rather than real gameplay. As a result she will always be hard to balance because she will always perform worse in solo/dynamic queue than LCS.
