putting morde in an even tougher spot when it comes to actually getting near someone without poppin flash, would you mind giving him like 5 more movespeed. I have enough issues fighting everyone as they dance around the map as it is. Show a lil love

of course good sir, but i need to make contact with said enemy first. Which isnt bad early on, but as the game moves on the movespeed gap increases
GrievousFetus1 votesOkay, I wanted to clear that up first because I've seen lots of grasp and DFT Mordekaisers get bodied and don't know why.
That said, Mordekaiser's kit is all damage. He has 4 high damage abilities, no CC, no mobility, and very limited utility (outside of his ultimate ghost as a pushing/objective taking force of course). He's very strong in lane and his all ins are absolutely deadly.
I obviously can't speak on behalf of Riot, but League is a team game, and a champion who's an absolute monster in the middle of a fight but has no means of getting into the middle of a fight is going to be depedent on his team to initiate. If Mordekaiser had the mobility and initiation to get into range in combination with the sort of damage to 2v1 (or more if ahead) his kit might have too few weaknesses.
Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt though, I play a lot of Morde with a high degree of success but #bronzelife.

I have plenty of success pushing through gold with Morde but just because I can do ok with Morde, doesnt mean that he is strong. Most of my success comes from the fact no one sees him.
Unless I start running movespeed quints to make up for the fact everyone runs faster with

Mixed with the fact 
would help but there are much more important items on his to do list.

Except that he isn't even allowed to properly use his W unless he has a teammate.

Well I understand that, but they just nerfed because theyre too good, which puts even more pressure on morde. Hell I even know they almost never compensate chamions when they nerf items, that ends up hurting the non-meta champs and pushing them even further down into the crap tier.
Yet it would be nice for them to be like hey, morde is pretty crap as is lets give him a little love.
Also I dont feel that the argument of "When a champion gets rolling they become unstoppable" That fits almost any champion. Yet all those champions dont have Mordes handicap to fight against

GrievousFetus1 votesThat is true, even if he had the tools to initaite and catch opponents on his own he's teammate dependent regardless because he explicitly needs an ally unit. So yes, I was wrong to sate Mordekaiser with chasing power would be overpowered because he needs a teammate anyway.
Granted, Mordekaiser does have a unique quality as a champion with 1) an ability that direly requires an ally unit and 2) an ally unit he himself creates and directly controls.
