By picking your toplane champion before enemy picks his, you're basically asking to get countered

Toplane is the most counter heavy lane in the game.

Jungle is fine because you dont interact with enemy jungler most of the early game anyway Mid is fine because one of basic ideas of midlane is to permashove the lane as range champs with aoe abilities Bot is fine because there are more people there so more things can happen.

Top is literally Pick A - get countered by B

There's absolutely no reason to be an otp in toplane as long as you have a general idea how all champs work. Picking a counter to a champ that you somewhat know how to play is better than picking your main and get countered.

I'd much rather play Vlad or Swain against pantheon and win at 10minute mark by statchecking him than playing Fiora and forcefully grow a second anus form his brain-dead poke.

I'd much rather poke Nasus with teemo until he ragequits than playing camille against him and get withered and right clicked to death the moment he gets lvl6 and a sheen

I'd definitely prefer to outcancer Illaoi with Kayle than reconsider my life choices being three-shoted by in her ult while playing Poppy

Toplane's current state is absolutely horrendous but because FF-Targon-Overheal combo exist in botlane, and ad carries always get their problems taken care of faster than other roles, only thing left for me to do is sit in the corner, cry, and then proceed to dodge every single game in which im forced to firstpick top.

I'm pretty sure that lp i'll lose from dodging wont even begin to measure to all the lp i got from being a %%%%.

My suffering is immense and the future looks as bleak as ever.
