Riven: Any future nerfs in mind Riot?

So Riven is a champion that I have seen absolutely steamroll the competition as of late. It seems as if no matter what situation I'm in, if there is a Riven in the game it greatly increases my chances of losing. So many situations I have seen people destroy her in lane, only for her to come back. (sometimes not even late game, I had a game where I beat a riven and made her 1/7 and she was still half healthing me with her QW Auto)

I believe the last nerf Riven actually had was; and correct me if I'm wrong, I am far too lazy to research this further, was in patch 4.1 in February of 2014. You would think that maybe it was a really good nerf that brought Riven down a massive peg, well...it brought her down a few pegs.

And I know there was another one that brought her base movement speed and missile speed for her ult down.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying, "THIS CHAMP IS OP NERF HER SO I CAN WIN" I kind of just want to see if there are any future ideas for a nerf on Riven. She might be slightly broken but lets be honest, the balance system in this game is kinda fucked.

Another reason I wanted to make this thread is I kind of want to pick the brains of Riot's balancing team a bit. Get into their heads about it. See the reasoning behind the lack of nerfs. I assume it's partially due to Riven mains being super salty about any nerf on her. I saw a thread that...I kid you not, says that Sterak's Cage should be removed from the game because it is a direct counter item to Riven. (REALLY?!)

I know Riot is a "try to please everyone" kind of company but it really is kind of impossible. They sure as hell try though.

I feel as if this community doesn't want balance, it wants things it doesn't like or have trouble fighting being nerfed into nonviablity, yet will complain when other things are and will want to continue the process. It is never "Hmmm, I have trouble fighting a character, maybe I should try it." No, it is, I lost to it, I'm not gonna give the full story of what happened in the game like how I refused to buy armor and was getting hurt by the Riven still building full damage, no, it is just, better QQ, ignore her subpar win rate in solo queue at the moment, or the fact she doesn't see tourney play, nope, she is a pubstomper, better nerf her.

I don't want Riven nerfed, I don't even play Riven. I used to think the same thing then I tried her, and I have yet to do the things I see and I'm still baffled. I always seem to do less damage, can't flip on the fly when I need to, and can't see to go this uber god mode everyone whines about, I think hey, maybe just maybe this is a bit harder then I think. You wanna know what I also learned, that while her dashes are annoying, there are plenty of champions that can not only eat her damage, but counterattack her just as hard, like Garen, Darius, and Volibear, and a good Trundle. I learned counterpicking, but no, let's just follow the circlejerk of the forums, and complain once again after the fact, like these forums always do.

the ult nerf missile speed actually made a pretty noticeable difference. and while riven is cheesy...she is a champion that unless played at an elite level, really requires you to make a mistake. Riven is the queen of punishing mistakes which is why you see her faceroll and snowball completely out of control. Riven does have some massive downsides though. If she does the insane 1 v 5 dmg build she has to be able to do that combo and quickly on multiple people or she will just be focused down and blown up. and while she has tons of gap closers/mobility (that is honestly kind of stupid), she still has to basically run right at you giving you an opportunity to react. Riven punishes poor play better than most champions. Shes strong, but I don't feel a nerf is necessary. I don't main riven or play riven that often btw

I don't think people want her to get nerf, beside low elo but they'll complain about Lucian being op after getting steamrolled by him top. I think people just hate her kit... and the players who use her tbh. Rather see DArius and Fiora get gutted right now.
