is there a way to disable chat besides having to type mute all every game?

I don't want to have to mute all at the start of every game because I can't remember to do it.

Is there some button that I can use to get rid of chat that carries over from game to game? I usually have the chat box dragged off the screen but that prevents me from seeing objective kills, bounties, pings, etc.

If there is no chat disable button anywhere, I think it would be great next patch to implement such a feature.
