Galio auto attack

I keep seeing this from Galio players and honestly its a thing I have always wondered why he does not have. For melee attacks his is exceptionally short for a mage, granted he is meant to be in the thick of things with abilities like Idol of Duraan and his shield but it makes abusing his CS early extremely easy and forces him to use his W for mitigation rather than initiation and trades.

A ranged auto, even a short ranged one would benefit him tons and help him become more popular or at least meta.
