What if we could see items on champions ?

I thought it would be cool to see the item shown on every champion. Let's say you buy a deathcape you get some sort of visual addition which tells that the champion has deathcap. Every 'full' item would have his little visual addition. So you could actually see who's got what item during the whole game without having to check players bought item. Let's say in team fight that could be great addition in my opinion because you would see items shown right in your face, so you can't say like : Ahh right he has zhonyas already (or anything else regarding). Also would make every character and skins more customisable, which is nice because people are gonna be even more into their favorite champion.

I know MMO's already have this kind of feature, and that this game is different. Still makes sens to me to look into it. Even though it would be a lot of work I'm thinking it would make the game even better. Am I the only one aboard or any of you feel the same ?
