Why comeback xp needs to be nerfed/Why playing jungle feels unfair
I am a shaco main, and I won't complain about him being weak, he's fine, but what I dislike is how comeback XP works.
So I will tell this like a story: I queue for ranked, I first pick
, enemy jungler picks
. I know I have to shut him down early so I do. I find him level 2 at his wolves and I kill him, I steal his jungle. In minute 5 he is still level 2 while I'm level 4, I keep messing with him early while still being 2 levels above him. https://prnt.sc/niwebb here is a photo in minute 8 showing our level difference before I kill him and get to steal his red again.
I can't really invade him anymore because my laners are losing even with rammus being unable to gank so I look to help them.
He gets to clear a wave from midlane while Orianna backed and at minute 11, 3 minutes later, he is almost the same level as me https://prnt.sc/niwdub followed by him being the same level as me at minute 13 https://prnt.sc/niwetg .
So all I did early game to put him behind was for nothing because one wave from midlane gave him a whole level of XP. Also, tank items are cheaper so he basically had the same number of items as me with less CS. Because of this you don't have solo carry potential from a jungle position, you rely on your laners (usually botlane difference) to be good and win the game for you, and all you can do is get them ahead early.
