Make Ranked surrender at 35min. Know what's important to ur team, don't take kills from ur adc etc.

I just had a RANKED game today where

  1. I gave first blood.
  2. My support took every kills when we tried to kill the enemy adc and support(5 kills, me 0).
  3. My team surrendered at 30 min.
  4. I had the second lowest kill. 3 kills. But the second highest gold.
  5. Tried my best.

1-First: Yes i gave first blood my bad. I got greedy and got both the adc and support low and i got hooked got tower shotted. Such a noob.

2-Second: Pls don't take any kills from your adc. U may have ksed on accident. But 5 kills? Nope. I need the kill most. Maybe the jungler mid, top, can take my kill but the support NO! Espiecally at early levels of the game.

3-Third: Surrender a RANKED game? This is RANKED. We lose points for that? Don't u know? I know they are reking us but this is RANKED and we
must try. And because of this we need to make RANKED surrender at 35min. At 35min almost everything can be said if we are gonna lose, win or we are equal. I don't wanna lose points by surrendering.

4-Fourth: My support had 8 kills, jungler had 6 kills and I had 3 kills. How did i get so much gold? One magical word: FARM! FARMING is very important at every levels of the game. If ur ahead FARM, if ur behind FARM. FARM ur jungle and minions. By FARMING u will always be ahead or catch up with ur oppenents. I FARMED and was almost equal to the enemy adc who had 9 kills. 5-Fifth: Do what's best for ur team. If u wanna WIN? Do what's best. Upgrade ur trinket, talk with ur team and DISABLE ALL CHAT!!!!!!! U can mute ur team but in my opinion u should always know if ur team is arguing or not. Try to make them belive that they can win and always say something positive.

The surrender vote is at 20 because anyone that wants to use it won't stick around for a 35 minute game. There are some games that everything goes to shit really quick and it's just in your best interests to opt out. You spend less time becoming frustrated and toxic and more time getting into another match.

Didn't vote, because you're not right. You have the wrong attitude about ranked. Let's break this down.

1- Happens, whatever. You're right on that.

2- As a former ADC main I feel your pain. But soloq is a selfish game. If a support can steal kills they often will, because they can't trust anyone but themselves. Learn how to steal from them. Good ADCs can secure kills that their team is trying to deny them. (Yes I know it's not always easy).

3- Surrender a ranked game? Sure why not? I prefer not to, I'm with you there. But get off your high horse and stop expecting everyone to agree with you. Some games are losses, and some aren't. Yeah, people are quick to /ff too early. But it's one damn game. You mentioned losings matters in ranked. No, it actually doesn't. If you go in expecting to win, you'll lose. You have to treat ranked like any other game. Otherwise you're putting pressure on yourself, causing you to tilt. I'm gonna repeat this later. And 35 minutes is way too long. If your team surrendered at 20, you would've said 25. If they surrendered at 25, you'd say 30. You can't base an entire game's gameplay off of one bad game.

4- I'm glad you farmed and caught up. Many people don't understand how that works. You did this 100% right, as far as I can tell.

5- Yes, do what's best for your team. Upgrade trinkets, work as a team, ping, chat etc. But, if your team won't work with you, don't expect them to. Work with them instead. Better to play as a 5 man team, going with calls you don't agree with, than ignoring the call and not being useful. Especially as the ADC. (Of course, if you see then fighting 4v5 and you can split safely, for example, maybe that's best.) You all know what I mean.

Time to repeat: You have to treat ranked like any other game. Otherwise you're putting pressure on yourself, causing you to tilt. I'm gonna repeat this later. If you go in expecting to win, you'll lose. And one loss means nothing. No one climbs the ladder without losing.

Just curious, but who was your support?

I agree with op, if you feel the need to surrender then you are going to lose in the next couple minutes anyways. If you don't lose in the next couple minutes then that means the game was a hell of a lot closer than you thought and it's a good thing you didn't surrender.
