In Game Mute Toggle

Muting annoying/toxic summoners needs to be easier than typing their name in chat. I'm certain that a large percentage of players have never used this tool that vastly improves the play experience. I'd like to see a mute option on the in game scoreboard screen. As a toggle, it would allow players to mute and unmute other players easily. Have any of the reds thought about adding this to the game?
