Like, please? I hate logging in and just seeing ARAM, TT, and SR. Something, anything to break up the monotony, especially now that nexus blitz is gone. We'll get arurf for two weeks and then radio silence for another four, rinse and repeat. I think my friends and I would play this game way more if there were temporary game modes always available, even if it's a different one every few weeks. [sg-soraka]
They're never going to have consistently rotating gamemodes because their standards for what counts as "worthwhile" and/or "popular" are very much extremitys. Nexus Blitz was incredibly popular and had mostly positive feedback and yet Riot still doesn't want to add it permanently since they are saying it's not "popular enough". Legitimately they just want us to play standard 5v5 and forcefeed us LC$ content, that's the only speculation that makes sense at this point.
On that note, default URF was THE most popular gamemode in League's history, and yet.....Riot removed it simply due to the fact that it made people quit playing default 5v5.
RIOT doesnt even care about us . we can beg all we want but they wont listen.
I WISH they'd decided to keep Nexus Blitz, it was so fresh and fun but the matches were still short.

Back when Featured Game Modes started being a thing, there was one every few months. Sometimes old ones came back & some new ones were added along the way.
As more and more FGM got added, the idea of a rotating game mode queue started to build up. Until it finally got added back in the fall of 2015
So you're not asking for Riot to do something new. You're asking them to bring it back. We went full circle back to the old FGM days & people are asking for a rotating queue...........AGAIN.
Why they stopped doing it? Because of this:
TL;DR: We won’t be running a RGM with every patch anymore. We’re going to continue to run the most popular modes, but our main focus will be on creating more new modes to launch alongside events as well as experimenting with older modes.
Obviously Nexus Blitz, Odyessy: Extraction, the changes to ARURF & Butcher's Bridge are the results of the Game Modes team dropping the RGM.
Forget temporary, just bring them back period, especially Crystal Scar.

Why Riot killed one of the few good things it had going was beyond me.
RGM need to be on all the time, there is no excuse for not having one or any good/real reason why nexus blitz can't be improved (mapwise) and turned into a permanent game mode. The Aram/TT only players won't mind if there is a RGM running all the time.
They should roll out OLD Champion kits and items for some game modes.. id love to see how todays players would react to something like AP yi.. or Insta gap closing Talon with a silence,.. bring back Madreds Bloodrazor and Force of Nature.. the original Blood Thirster that was stackable.. bring back atmas impaler.. a nice retro game mode... bring back the OLD and hard to play Karma Kit.. maybe some MR shredding Morg W's..
I will never understand Riot´s obsession with drip feeding content. It´s not like oversaturation was an imminent threat to them, but they sure act like this was the case.
Practice tool can´t be expanded in fear that players may use the tool too much, unpopular modes just get removed after years of neglection, everything has to be timed and nothing is allowed to stay.
If it is a new mode, they need to make sure it works right before letting it go live
if it is an old mode that's hasn't seen the light of day in awhile, they need to update it
Some modes won't come back because they were only fun the one time due to the timing of the event
Give them the benefit of the doubt, be glad we get a rotating game mode on a somewhat consistent upload
I would play Twisted Treeline, but ... It's Twisted Treeline.
