Ahri Charm vs J4 EQ

Why does this interaction still exist? J4s Q explicitly states in it's tooltip that it does not get stopped by immobilizing effects during the EQ combo. I can EQ through Neekos ult stun but get stopped in my tracks by Ahris E. It's inconsistent game design, and it's something you literally wouldn't expect to have to play around as a J4 player until you actually experience how dumb it is to just stop halfway to your flag and then instantly die. As if Charms weren't one of the best forms of CC next to knockups already...

I think you need to time it correctly. If you get hit by the charm while your Q is in the air but the animation of the drag has not started yet, you move to the flag and then you are charmed for the remainder of the duration. Kinda like the buffering of trist W or ez E. You need to get hit on the buffer and not during the animation of the skill itself in order to ignore it, if this makes sense.

Wrong.

This effect can be TRIGGERED even while immobilized.

Triggered is him being able to CAST EQ when he is already Snared/Rooted/Grounded.

This is not the samething as being unstoppable.

Assuming you meant where you were already in motion, the only CC types that can stop dashes period are Displacements, Ahri Charm, Ashe and Veigar stuns (cause they have knock-downs in their CC).

Neeko not being able to stop you during dash is intended, Ahri being able to stop you is intended because you're already in dash motion.

using ability buffering, or cast buffering (iunno what it's exactly called but you can buffer spells on some champions) you can EQ out of anything as j4 but it has to occur after the immobilising spell is used from what i gather. so if you ability buffer correctly against an ahri then your Q get's cast after her charm hits and then her charm ain't shit.

at least i think that's how it works. if you are mid dash and ahri charms you then your ass is hers surely.

It's a good thing honestly, you are boring with those champs on jungle. Jungle is only ganking now. Ahri is one of the few champs i can play because she is ungankable. That why she is my favorite champ.

You are crying because you can't gank mid and get 20/0 with J4 vs an Ahri mid.

You deserve it, next time stay in jungle and farm. Otherwise she will steal your blue buff.

No, but i love Ahri because yeah, despite the fact that she is meta and in the top 5 mid laner for years, she is one of the only champs that allow me to lane correctly without being bothered a lot by the jungler.

With others champs, even if i ward and everything, i can get surprised and get killed. Also you can get dived. With Ahri, no one can dive you with your ulti.

This jungle meta is actually very toxic. Only dashing champs are present and it's make the game horrible for people who like to play other things than "safe picks".

One game, i played with Kayle vs Shen top. He was in premade with Lee sin. I played very safe, Shen was pushing so i was under my tower. Lee sin tried to dive me lvl 4 but he failed, he wasn't killed but i left tower because low hp and they got some plates.

He was constantly here, at some time he managed to kill me with a dive when my ulti was in CD. Thanks, the others lane won and he go punished for ganking the same lane too much but you see, it's horrible.

Being locked under your tower and try to farm as much as possible, knowing the enemy jungler is always on your side to dive you is horrible. Thanks champs like Ahri exists. I would play her anywhere just to make a big "fck you" to the enemy jungler.

So what you're saying is you suck at mid and need to rely on a crutch character to not feed?

Also I don't main J4 or even jungle for that matter, and Jungle has ALWAYS been about ganking so your point is moot. You gank and you control objectives.

So you are assuming that i suck just because i can get dived at lvl 4 under my own tower ? I play safe, even with others champs but Ahri is one of the best champs in this game to not get dived and ganked permanently by junglers.

I disagree, junglers are supposed to farm first and take objectives and gank when they have time to gank.

Actually, it's not the case, every jungler permagank everywhere and steal CS on lanes which is really bad. Junglers should farm in jungle, not take CS on lane.

But i don't blame you, it's the stupid meta. Farming in jungle and counterjungling and steal camps have less impact than permagank 24/24 a lane and steal some minions.

That why we are forced to play safes champs with safe kit like Ahri in mid, because junglers can't farm properly in their jungle so they permagank.

turrets are useless in this meta so junglers like J4, lee sin can dive easy which is really awful since your tower is supposed to protect you a little bit, especially when you are in a bad matchup.

If camps gaved more XP, junglers would stop a little bit to permagank lanes, because they would lose XP from doing it too much. In this meta, it's so pointless to play Shyvana and takes a lot of monsters when you can play J4 or Lee sin and gank at lvl 2.

With more XP on monsters, junglers like Shyvana or Udyr can punish the other jungler if he gank "too much" because he will lack of XP and gold. It's also make counterjungling more interesting.

I'm criticizing, because actually, there is no way to punish a J4 or a Lee sin, a Kha'zix or an Evelyn from permaganking. If you do monsters, you will have maybe a little bit more XP but you will have less gold. If you don't gank, you re disadvantaged. You can't make a strategy based on farming and stealing camps if the enemy jungler is ganking a lot.

You gain less from farming in jungle than permaganking lanes and stealing minions which is actually sad and make jungle unbalanced. Champs who are "pro" at ganking are S and S+ tiers while the others who are more based on farming are bad because it's not that worth to farm in jungle.
