Ahri Charm vs J4 EQ

Why does this interaction still exist? J4s Q explicitly states in it's tooltip that it does not get stopped by immobilizing effects during the EQ combo. I can EQ through Neekos ult stun but get stopped in my tracks by Ahris E. It's inconsistent game design, and it's something you literally wouldn't expect to have to play around as a J4 player until you actually experience how dumb it is to just stop halfway to your flag and then instantly die. As if Charms weren't one of the best forms of CC next to knockups already...

I think you need to time it correctly. If you get hit by the charm while your Q is in the air but the animation of the drag has not started yet, you move to the flag and then you are charmed for the remainder of the duration. Kinda like the buffering of trist W or ez E. You need to get hit on the buffer and not during the animation of the skill itself in order to ignore it, if this makes sense.

Wrong.

This effect can be TRIGGERED even while immobilized.

Triggered is him being able to CAST EQ when he is already Snared/Rooted/Grounded.

This is not the samething as being unstoppable.

Assuming you meant where you were already in motion, the only CC types that can stop dashes period are Displacements, Ahri Charm, Ashe and Veigar stuns (cause they have knock-downs in their CC).

Neeko not being able to stop you during dash is intended, Ahri being able to stop you is intended because you're already in dash motion.

using ability buffering, or cast buffering (iunno what it's exactly called but you can buffer spells on some champions) you can EQ out of anything as j4 but it has to occur after the immobilising spell is used from what i gather. so if you ability buffer correctly against an ahri then your Q get's cast after her charm hits and then her charm ain't shit.

at least i think that's how it works. if you are mid dash and ahri charms you then your ass is hers surely.

It's a good thing honestly, you are boring with those champs on jungle. Jungle is only ganking now. Ahri is one of the few champs i can play because she is ungankable. That why she is my favorite champ.

You are crying because you can't gank mid and get 20/0 with J4 vs an Ahri mid.

You deserve it, next time stay in jungle and farm. Otherwise she will steal your blue buff.
