What preseason has told me to do with my last season play style Play meta or else get a losing streak. It's become painfully obvious that control mages like azir, syndra, orianna, taliyah has been nerfed to the ground but I never struggled much with winning on them cause I knew these champions by heart and I played them very good if you don't belive me check my op.gg http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=lickherd%C3%98wn

Last season in solo/duo i ended on p2 with a 61% wr with my 3 favorite champions: Taliyah Orianna Syndra All of the above I had high kda's and a winrate to match.

But I stopped playing ranked to rank up when taliyah got nerfed from jg to nowhere. When taliyah was popular in the jungle i stilled played her mid and won more on her mid than those who went with her on jg. I'm not going to deny that I am not a taliyah one trick but she is one of the many champions I enjoyed playing. I played many other control mages in norms.

Now to my point. It seems that AD champions with dashes had become more stronger. Jax needs to press e and q's on top of you to stun you for 1 seconds and in that one second he already bursted the crap out of you with at least 250 dmg to 300 dmg and the fact that his e can last a long duration before going off. I've played cass into jax to see how the interaction goes if you even stun jax with your ulti his e will still be spinning for that entire stun duration and even last longer than the stun so he can just jump right back on top of you can poop on you. This is one of the examples but there are more champions who have so much frontal damage that you can't even go into a trade with cause you already lost more than 50% of your hp in their "skilled" combo's like jax, Xin Zhao Tryndamere and so much more. To break out of these combo's you mostly have to use flash to get away ASAP before they cc you. Control mages can't handle this and don't bring that bull crap that you're out of position, this game is decided by farm not how long you can stand underneath turret before the waves crashes under your turret. These champions have an absurd engage range with to much front damage to really pack a punch if you don't even have flash to get away. even if you survive that frontal damage you can't trade anymore or else you'll just die. "But Lick control mages are OP late game", So? so is jax, tryndamere, xin, vi, udyr. These champions do not care about positioning and they can pack a more heavier punch than a control mage catching you out of position.

This is my opinion but come at me with facts and don't bring up situations that barely happens. Keep this civil and I'm dying to hear your response.
