I need to use a VPN to log onto league and also to download league

As title says, I will go into details here. I have come to a conclusion that riot may have blacklisted my island named curacao. I have talked with many people who play league here and all of them have the exact same issue they need to use a VPN to log onto league. this is not an internet problem cause I can log on to any server of NA in any different games that isn't league so I'm pretty sure this is a tech problem or a bug on riots part.
