Two years since Riot made lol from a team-based MOBA to a quick-paced deathmatch mode.
Yet its much harder to solo carry, so the frustrating aspect of this game, the team game part, is stronger.
It is very obvious that Riot's goal isn't an actual strategic game
Idk what is strategy for you, but everything in this game is strategy, from first second in champ select till nexus falls. You can see it in proplay or in high elos. You can identify that majortity of games are full of mistakes and that with right approach, good player can get solid wr.
a quick arcade-style game designed for Internet cafes.
Yeah sure, good old "Its bcs of China" argument, yet games still take 27 minutes on average. Game mentality is how you recognize cafes states, quick openes are on of main signs.
I also wish we had them in Europe, the social part of it is quite interesting. Also its incredibly cheap and their main income comes from food/drinks.
Anyway, believe w/e you want.
Climbing is slow
Thats bad? You have to invest time and you will hardly climb with 45% wr like last season. Thats improvement.
simply going for kills is more effective than strategy
Relying on your opponents mistakes is noob trap. Good micro and macro will carry you above mid dia.
decided this is a good meta
What is? Its almost like its opinion based, I hate times where as toplaner I had to play tank and I hate times where playing jngle role gave you free Elo.
The game isn't fun to play OR watch
Again opinion. And hundreds of thousands of ppl watching pro games and streams disagree.
