Min the Crafty Mage and Ion the Rebellious One
These two are ideas that I came up with while looking at the wiki for League concerning minions. Each one is based on what minions actually do for players and how they treat them.
Lore: Min and Ion were created at the same instant. During an intense clash between Thresh, the Chain Warden and Lucian, the Purifier on the fields of justice (More specifically Summoners Rift) two souls escaped from the Lantern of the chain warden and bound themselves to the two nearest vessels a blue mage minion and a purple spear minion. The massive influx of magic that existed in the area boosted the power of the minions and wiped the memories of the souls past lives. Suddenly blessed with inelegance of great warriors from the past the two fled Summoners Rift out of fear of the battle that was happening. When the two minions stopped running the realized that they had power. Not much power but they did. For months the two stalked the country observing the various fields of justice and how the league operated. Holding no memory of their previous lives they began anew and came to the conclusion that they must relive the minions from the control of the league and start a new race.
Thus began their rebellion. However the two came up with totally different ideas on how to free their race. Min, the blue mage decided that he wanted to try to talk with the League to see if they would free his kinsmen. Ion, the spear minion came up with a very straightforward plan, to attack the League and force them to relinquish control of his people. Both tried their plans on the same day and both failed miserably as the various champions defended the Institute of War. After being captured and imprisoned the two felt that they would be killed for their insubordination. The League of Legends instead insisted that two were interesting specimen and that they each deserved a chance. Thus they were drafted as the champions for the minions.
Min the Crafty Mage (Class: support. Resource: Mana. He is based on controlling and boosting minions similar to that of a general. He knows whats best for the minions and will make them follow it no matter what)
Passive: Kindred Spirit
Friendly Minions within a small radius of Min get an attack and defense bonus. (think Sonas aura range)
First Ability: Tracking shot
A low level attack that chases a nearby opposing champion illuminating the area around it as it travels and when it hits (This is one I came up with when I realized that one minion spell attacks follow you and two Minions make good scouts)
Second Ability: Comrade
Summons extra minions from the nexus that are bound to Min (Strength in numbers is what minions have. These Minions would follow Min similar to Tibbers however they must walk all the way from the nexus to Min. More ranks in this means more minions)
Third Ability: Traitor
Makes nearby opposing minions turn around and join your team. He gets no gold for the conversions and the enemy can still kill the converted for gold so it is a trade off (Number increases based on the level of Traitor)
Ultimate Ability: Charge
Nearby Minions get an attack, defense and a speed boost for a short amount of time and become invulnerable. (He needed something that would make him more viable. Giving him an Ult that worked well with his play type seemed like a good idea)
Ion the Rebellious One (Class: fighter. Resource: Mana. He is based on a classic rebellion leader. He is inspiring and the strongest of the group)
Passive: Strength in numbers
Becomes stronger based on the number of allied minions around him
First Ability: Push the Line
A charging attack that grants allied minions near Ion a movement and attack speed boost (Minions are often used to push towards one side or another)
Second Ability: Theft (passive)
Ion steals gold from every kill the opposing team makes while near him (Minions steal kills from people all the time. This also makes it annoying when added to his third ability)
Third Ability: Ambiguity
Changes Ions mini-map signature to that of an opposing teams minion and allows him to pass through a tower radius without being attacked as well as walk withing opposing minion ranks. Stops working during combat (This would be a constant drain to Ions mana pool and a toggle passive like Amumus Despair. Many people ignore their own minions. It is removed during combat so he can not topple towers alone)
Ultimate Ability: Tower Slayer
A powerful attack that deals increased damage against towers (Minions kill towers...who knew?)
EASTER EGG PASSIVE: If on the same team they receive the Conflicting Philosophy buff that causes them to weaken if they are within working radius of each other thus preventing making minions with Min and surrounding Ion with a small army. I think that these two would be entertaining champions but not necessarily viable ones in highly competitive play however I still like them.
