Kassadin idea changes

Hi, I'm a little new at balancing, so don't kill me please. I thought I'd share some ideas for Kassadin, a problematic champion that can flash every 3 seconds.

##Passive: Void stone

Kassadin takes 15% reduced magic damage and ignores unit collision.

I'm leaving this unchanged, since Kassadin is supposed to be a anti-mage.

ACTIVE: Kassadin fires an orb of void energy at a target enemy, dealing magic damage and interrupting channels. The excess energy forms around himself, granting a shield that absorbs magic damage for 2.5 seconds.

  • MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 / 180 (+ 70% AP)
  • SHIELD STRENGTH: 40 / 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 (+ 35% AP)

A little buff to the shield and it's duration, but I think it's a fine spell for Kassadin.

PASSIVE: Kassadin's basic attacks deal 20 (+10% AP) bonus magic damage on-hit.

I think this passive is fine where it is, so I leave it unchanged.

ACTIVE: Kassadin charges his Nether Blade, causing his next basic attack to deal bonus magic damage, silencing his enemy for 0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 seconds and restore a percentage of his missing mana (quintupled against champions).

  • MAGIC DAMAGE: 40 / 65 / 90 / 115 / 130 (+ 55% AP)
  • MANA RESTORED: 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 % missing mana
  • MANA RESTORED AGAINST CHAMPIONS: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 % missing mana

I nerfed the damage by a little, but only because I added a silence to the spell, allowing Kassadin's joke to finally make sense and also bring back the silence he once had but putting it in a better place for this kit.

PASSIVE: Kassadin draws energy from spells cast in his vicinity, gaining a charge whenever a spell is cast near him (including his own spells). Upon reaching 6 charges, Kassadin gains the ability to cast Force Pulse.

ACTIVE: Kassadin can emit a pulse of void energy, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies in a 80º cone in front of him for 1.5 secondS.

  • MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 105 / 130 / 155 / 180 (+ 70% AP)
  • SLOW: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90%

This spell is fine, just added a tiny .5 second to the slow.

http://img2.findthebest.com/sites/default/files/4265/media/images/t2/Riftwalk_R_Kassadin_2726759.png ##**R: Riftwalk || Range: 700 || Cost: 60 / 120 / 240 / 480 / 960 mana || Cooldown: 30 / 25 / 20 **

ACTIVE: Kassadin teleports to a nearby location, dealing magic damage to enemy units within 150 range upon arrival. If Riftwalk hits an enemy champion, the cooldown is reduced by 80%. Each subsequent Riftwalk within the next 12 seconds (if it hits a champion only) costs double the mana and deals bonus damage, stacking up to 4 times.

  • Damage: 120 / 160 / 200 (+50% AP)
  • Bonus damage: 60 / 80 / 100 (+25% AP)

This finally gets rid of the whole 3 second flash, and finally gives Kassadin counterplay. Now kassadin can't escape as easily, but can engage easier.

This is my idea changes, thanks for reading!

I'd rather see Kassadin's E gutted than his R. The former is just a very powerful ability that he's always had - the latter is his identity.

I disagree with the ult changes; the 3 second flash, while it does make Kassadin very powerful and is a lot of what people complain about, is really heavily connected to his identity as a champion. That's what makes him unique as a champion.

Silence was removed for a reason. They plan on removing it on talon, whom has to dive into the ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM to access. So yeah...
