Project Aria
Hey everyone! I just want to share with you a project me and some people have been working on. It is Aria, a fan-made MOBA heavily inspired off of League of Legends. Wait, an actual playable MOBA? Oh no, no, no. That would be impossible unless we gain any recognition at all, which I highly doubt. Everything is conceptual and is written on probably the crappiest Wikia ever (which I made). And I'm gonna need some more help!
Aria is a MOBA which combines the overhead real-time strategy of League of Legends, and the controls of an action RPG. Aria features a diverse pool of the Destined who fight the evil Necron from taking over the world. It is a simple MOBA geared at getting people who are new to the MOBA genre more into it. There are no fancy runes or masteries, there's no criticizable decision making that could get you flamed at.
The game features two main modes of gameplay: Classic, and Defense. Classic is the most played game, which throws you onto a 3-lane map with 4 other players against another team of 5. The purpose of it is to get the enemies' side and capture their flag, deeming you the victor. Defense can be played after winning 5 Classic game, for the the Classic games are just training for the real thing. Defense involves you and a team of 4 others to defend an artifact at a venue of choice from the Necron. These are very hard, for the Necron are quite powerful and their AI shouldn't be taken lightly unlike the bots of LoL. But, winning one of these is VERY rewarding, allowing you to own the destined you just played as and gaining other rewards, such as a Badge of Honor and THREE times as much experience.
Well, I think I went over the basic premise. The thing is, I need help. There are SO many creative people on here, creating champions and skins and whatnot everyday, and I want some people to help me develop this project while showing off their creativity.
