I going to a convention in CA and I want to do a cosplay for item. I considering Twitch the plague if he was a human/rat crossover. I need some help with the costumes look and design. I'm new to this sort of thing but I'm quick handy with tools and crafts.

I don't know how much help I could be, but I've made a few League of Legends cosplays just out of recycled pieces or cheaply purchased items.

It's blade is made out of recycled insulation board foam that came stuffed around a piece of furniture, don't remember what kind it was. I used clay molded on top of it as the "leafy" green part of the sword. And the handle is made of both recycled and purchased PVC pipe pieces. And of course it's coated in lots of paint.
If you wanted to talk more about it, I could probably think of things to use for Twitch's items. The entire thing kind of depends on how much access you have to stores and recycling type materials. I live in Alaska, so there's really no stores to just go out and buy whatever you want. I either have to order it and pay 100+ dollars in shipping, or find things at yard sales, or find things laying around. So if you live in a large city, or near one, you'll probably have an easy time as long as you're willing to pay for things.
