[Fan Fiction] Alistar's lore

The sun began to set on the crests of The Great Barrier's many mountain tops. The sky was tinged with flecks of gold and the remnants of clouds from a small rain that had ended just in time that the Minotaur tribes might enjoy the glimmering amber sky before nightfall.

Hordes of their young sprinted to and fro playing as all children do.

A group of five of them had engaged in a game of tag consisting of tagging by headbutting the backside of the unfortunate slower child.

The chase split off as the tagger ran after her next victim as they darted between the ancient adobe homes that the sun had baked.

It was a classic game of bull and mouse.

She was a young yellow minotaur, horns just beginning to branch off to the sides. She was also an expert tagger.

Her prey was an unfortunate young red bull who's horns had just begun to peak out from his head.

He was quick, but she had much experience tagging playmates much more nimble and clever. She was not so easily shaken when he darted in through the curtains to the large communal hut at the center of the camp.

As she entered she was stopped dead at the sight of the young bull sitting in safety on the lap of the tribes eldest chief.

He jeered at her from the fortress that was the elder bulls silver lap. Sticking his tongue out and blowing silent raspberries so as not to disturb the Chief Auroks conversation with a large purple bull.

She sat down dejected next to the large bull the elder was speaking with and caught the tail end of their conversation.

The elder spoke in a strong guiding voice that a father would use to advise a son.

"Alistar, Noxian diplomats are not to be trusted. Theirs is a culture that values only strength and victory; they care not for how they would achieve it. I worry for you."

Alistar flexed his arms slightly, cheeky grin in tow. "There are few enemies that have posed a threat to our tribe, fewer still that posed a threat to me. I will handle them if they try anything but if we are to ignore their attempts at negotiation for a simple trade route then we are no better than they are."

Aurok shook his head, silver beard brushing the budding horns of the child still seated on his lap. "Very well, in the morning we will send you with our tradesmen to speak on the tribes behalf... In the meanwhile you could find a better use for yourself by ushering these impertinent young pigs back to their families homes! It's almost past their bedtimes" He said, picking up the boy on his lap and tweaking his nose. "Off you go!"

Alistar offered his hands to either of the children and led them through the wide expanse of the village. Allowing each one to steer him slightly in the general direction their home was.

He patted each child playfully on the head like an older brother and shoo'd them off to their doors.

He began plodding back to his own home. He was no stranger to 'diplomacy' in any aspect but he could not ignore a sinking feeling in his chest.

He reached his home and opened it up to be greeted by his wife and child.

His wife held his hand and pulled him down to a chair that he might rest.

His child was large for his age and had his fathers blue mane, he had much promise to be another great warrior for the tribe.

His family's embrace was all the reassurance he needed.

He would await tomorrow's challenge eagerly with the support of his family and the tribe at his back.

1/3?

I'll just do more if people like this one, I love Alistar as a character and his current lore needed some fan-service so I figured I'd go for it myself.

Tough to judge, as this was mostly just introduction to what you're trying to do. I'd be interested in reading more and seeing what happens!
