[Champion Concept] new Champion Idea (My first post)

I love League of Legends, I love playing the game, the lore, and looking at new champion skins. I was having a daydream one tome about actually being part of the game, when I had an idea for a champion.

No it isn't an idea about a champion from earth, I don't think that will ever be accepted. However what if there was a champion who didn't start out as a warrior or a mage or uberly powerful before he came to the league. What if he himself was a fan of League of legends.

I have no clue how his lore would start out. But it would end something like this:

Surprisingly after only a few matches, he started to learn. He could copy the forms of sword fighting champions who'm he had watched so closely. He knew he could never over power most of the champions there so he learned how to make traps. He became faster and faster and even discovered he was adept at using the sling. With each fight he joins he gains more knowledge and chooses how to battle based on the situations around him.

I figure he basically started out as a nerd who loved the League games so much he wanted to join it (Like any of us would, be honest you would if you could). Through some odd circumstance he was presented with an opportunity to play in a match and accepted it. Playing him would be unique as he has many different choices that you can amplify, sort of like kha'zix but not exactly.

He actually has three sets of moves and his Ultimate. His passive allows him to change in between sets.

His first set, (Fighter set) is moves focusing on attacking up close. He would have an ability that basically just amplifies his next basic attack Q. Next ability he rushes over to a target slowing it temporarily but not much W. Last Ad fighter skill he has a shield that protects him from damage. If the shield is destroyed he can activate this ability again to strike an enemy doing decent damage that increases based on how much health they have E.

His second set (Mage set) his Q he catches an enemy in a vine net and slows them. His W he sets up a spike trap that when enemy champions walk over it they take magic damage. Lastly his E he replaces an area with quick sand or maybe bog mud damaging champions each second they are in it. This set I wanted to be more or less terrain control, he really couldn't kill champions with just this set up unless he ranked it up with his ultimate all the way (getting into that later), or he was really lucky. But still he would have to prepare ahead of time.

Last set (Marksman) He uses his sling a lot. His Q is passive, he gains more attack speed with every attack he does, it stacks up to a point. His W he finds a perfect stone it does more physical damage bypasses a certain amount of armor a champion has, just that ability not any basic attacks or other abilities. His E he shoots really far passing through any enemies it hits doing less damage to each enemy it hits.

Let me explain his passive and ultimate more now. At level 6 it just upgrades all of his abilities by a percent and adds the spell "Learn from your mistakes" For 15 seconds his fighter and marksmen abilities and basic attack do more Attack Damage, and his Mage lasts 25 seconds and it just makes him take less time to set up traps and his net does more damage. At level 11 he has to get rid of one of his sets but it makes the other two more powerful, since non of them start out all that powerful to begin with he has to rely on using all of them the best he can in the beginning. At 16 he has the same thing he gets rid of one of his sets and vastly improves the last one. Not only in damage but in status effects and basically everything.

His passive allows him to change sets once every 25 seconds or after a kill or assist.

I really like the idea of 3 sets of abilities instead of one, however it is really difficult to create and also very weird ingame. All 3 different kits must offer a set of Utility the other kits don't have, so it isn't just a dmg contest that will make the character useless. And if it ends with one kit being clearly better in all situations it even destroys the purpose of the champ itself, since you could have just as well taken another champ with said role and better stats. ( he wont get too good stats since he has 3 different forms and therefor massive utility ) These problems are only enforced by our items. There are only very few items he could buy for sure, that would benefit all or best yet 2 forms. And those items might not even be good for a single form, so if you aren't winning and you are dueling in those 25 seconds you can't change forms you will have a hard time winning alone through your item customisation.
I really really would love seing a champ with three different forms, but I'm just saying it will be really really hard to create him and if you want to create him fun with alot of diversity he will be very item dependent like certain already existing champions. Just look at corki. One buff to trinity and he's on the top of the tier list. He withstood the small nerf riot made this time, but the next nerf or item overhaul on either seal or shen could destroy him completly. And with a champion with 3 forms of which 2 must be good it can only be worse. Well I'm thinking two DIFFERENT forms at the moment. It could be ad ad ap, which would solve this issue, but then ap wouldn't be as popular and you just as well could have created another Jayce. Ap would have to offer tons of utility in exchange for the missing damage.
But I do like the idea :D Try working it out a bit more.

I think this is a great idea, but having sets on a passive would make it really hard to manage (there is no button to switch the set with and if it is automatic that would be more of a hassle.) Instead of the sets being passive, maybe even make that his ultimate call "Past Experience" in which he can switch his forms. This ult would be on a 10 sec CD (due to it being about utility) Upon getting this skills, AD turns into AP while in mage stance and all AP turns into AD while in fighter or marksman stance. His passive would be "Learn form your mistakes" which causes him after kill, assist or using his ult to have more attack speed/ reduced mana cost for 5 or 6 seconds. Fighter set can cost Energy, Marksman (Which is his default until lvl 6) can use Focus (will explain soon) and Mage uses Mana. The resources gain normally when in other sets. Fighter- changes i would make is that his sheild shouldn't break. on E- Fighter can do about 90% AP damage then adds about 20-30% damage as a bleed. He would use a sword and shield in this set. Marksman- on Q- The champion can use this skill to reduce the armor/magic resist of the target. W- would become 'Quick Feet" which increases his movement speed by a set amount, slow at first but rapidly increasing over 3 sec. Mage- Instead of damage, you can add a stun to it, gaining charges every few seconds (like 15 to start then lowered to 6-8) and hold up to 3 spikes. The spikes stun it's victims. If the victim is hit by another one, it does damage instead. If the victim hits the third one, it does the damage and grants the champion a spike charge immediately. What do you think of these changes? I love the 3 sets idea, so i am trying to keep it on this. This set up would give great flexibility, but have him weak at the start, forming him as a type of 'carry of all traits'
