“Great Avorasa, a strange creature has approached our territory,” the steward knelt towards the leader of the region. “Strange?” she questioned slowly, “How so?” her words chilling the air. “It seems to be a large bird. Seems to be made of ice,” he replied meekly. “Is that all?” she asked, her tone commanding. “Yes my lord, the creature seems to be intelligent. We have reports of it attempting to communicate with a farmer, who had run in fright.” “Seems light something interesting has happened in my fief,” a smile began to curl on her lips. “Perhaps I should take a look for myself.”

Avorasa rode towards the village. “And this is the village where the creature was spotted?” she questioned. “This is the village,” her steward replied. As they rode closer to the village, Avorasa saw many eyes peeking through the cracks of ajar doors. “The village is afraid of this creature?” she asked. “Yes,” replied her steward. “It is quite a peculiar incident. One that the world has not seen for a long time.”

As they reached the edge of the forest, Avorasa stood interested, staring at the woods. “Is anything wrong my lord?” asked the steward. “I will go on alone from here on” stated Avorasa. The steward looked as if he was about to say something as Avorasa went forward, her horse trotting slowly. She spent an hour in the woods trotting, admiring the simple beauty of the land as she had little time to do in her position. The frosty forest was a place of great expanse, and she had begun to remember why she had come there in the first place.

She heard a rustle from closeby. She slowly pulled her steed closer to the area. As she passed a cluster of trees and brush and came into an opening, there stood a bird of ice. “So you are what I was looking for.” she spoke interested. Anivia turned to face her, her eyes full of wisdom. “Yes, I am what you seek. But the question is why do you seek me?” “That is a question I am yet to answer myself,” replied Avorasa cooly. “If I were to come up with an answer right now, I’d say that I was interested in you. Nothing interesting has happened in the Watchers reign for long.” “It seems that they have conquered in my absence,” Anivia now appeared distraught. “I suppose that I am yet to ask whom you are, so I now say. Who are you creature?” “I am the guardian of these lands as the Watchers once were; I am the snow, wind, and ice; I am Anivia.” Anivia answered. “And you?” “I am Avorasa, a fist of The Watchers” she replied. “You speak of our rulers as guardians of this land? What has happened to turn them into these power-hungry rulers of today?” And so Anivia told her the tale of how her friends, had been corrupted by the power of the void portal. “So, you are looking to defeat The Watchers.” she spoke after listening to her tale. “I have not been entirely pleased with them myself, for they treat us as inferior, and move us as pawns. I have a vision, and perhaps we can work together to achieve that goal.” “I am glad to accept help any help I can Avorasa.” Anivia replied greatfully. “As this will take more thought than such has been discussed, shall we begin planning?” “Yes we shall.” replied Avorasa.
