Design: Black Robe with red trimmings and a red sash. He looks gaunt with a long white beard and a hood to hide his face. His weapon is a scythe. The longer the battle goes on the redder the blade and his clothes get. Every basic attack has alot of blood splatter.

Purpose: High damage immobile bruiser who's goal is to keep enemies close to him before executing them. He sustains himself off death.

General Info

  • Low Base Health for a melee unit

  • No health regen

  • Does not use mana

  • 175 range

Passive

Rites of Rebirth

  • Acheron will heal for 3/5/7% of his max HP over 5 seconds after killing a minion or monster.
  • If Acherons gets a kill or assist on a champion they leave an altar. Acheron can destroy this altar to regen 30/60/90% of his max HP over 10 seconds.

Q

Flesh Hook

Cost: 5% of Max HP CD: 9/8/7/6/5

  • Acheron sacrifices some blood to his scythe, increasing it's range by 325.
  • The next basic attack does 80/100/120/140/160% of his total AD and pulls the enemy towards him.

W

String of Fate

Cost: 15% of Max HP CD: 20/18/16/14/12

  • Acheron stabs himself to release the String of Fate. The first enemy champion it hits leashes Acheron to them. 50% of any damage Acheron does will redirect into the string, increasing it's damage. Acheron will be healed for the damage it deals. This damage is true damage.
  • Reactivating this skill will cause Acheron to cut the string and deal the damage. Enemies can also get out of range of Acheron (700) and the string will dissipate.
  • Minimum Damage: 10/25/50/75/100
  • Maximum Damage: 100/250/500/750/1000

E

Martyr's Mark

Cost: 9/8/7/6/5% of Max HP CD: 10

  • Acheron can target himself or an enemy with differing effects.
  • Acheron: Removes slows and increases attack speed by 50/62.5/75/87.5/100% for 5 seconds.
  • Enemy: Slowed by 50% for 2 seconds and causes grievous wounds for 5 seconds.

R

Spiraling Visitation

Cost: 20/15/10% of Max HP CD: 120/90/60

  • Acheron sacrifices blood to his scythe to create chains. Acheron begins swinging his scythe in a 600 AOE circle.
  • The first enemy champion hit is pulled to Acheron and done 200/400/600+50% AP in physical damage. If an enemy is hit by the blade of the scythe instead of the chains String of Fate is applied to them, the damage changes to a 5 second physical bleed dot, and the damage is doubled.
  • This is a channeled skill and can be canceled by CC.

Looking for feedback, but mainly on mechanics and potential flow issues (aka should he have grevious wounds on E or attack speed).

General Questions

Q: "Redirects damage into the string?"

A: If the String of Fate is applied to a champion, half of his damage premitagation will not apply and instead be put into the string. If he would do 100 damage with an AA, he does 50 before armor calc and 50 is put into his string.

I don't see any problem with this. One question though: When you thought of him did you think he'd be optimally AD or AP? Also, how would he destroy his altars (as would be dropped by enemy champions)?

This looks like a good idea. I see a few problems... The W max damage at rank 5 1000 damage? Ok, overpowered. So far that is all. This would be a cool champion. Maybe some skill shots so he is not quite overpowered.

This seems really well thought out. The way I'm imagining it, the game play flow would look something like this:

E onto enemy so you can get into range. Hit them with W to start building it up to do loads of damage. If they start getting away, Q them to keep them in W range. Before they escape W range, make sure you reactivate it to do all the damage you have built up.

I like the potential and counter play here. He seems kind of slow/ponderous, so if you can keep out of his initial range, you should be safe. And the Acheron player has to make sure he can navigate safely to make sure the target stays within W range to get the most out of it. The longer W is up, the more damage potential, but it also decreases the likelihood of it firing. High risk/reward and that's good.

His R requires good positioning as it hits the first champ and not all, and if it starts swinging the same direction each time (i.e., clockwise or counter clockwise), the enemy team can play accordingly by putting tank in front of carry in the attack arc.

You have his damage redirecting to the string. While the string is activated, I think his AA should do 100% of their normal damage and then a % damage (% determined by per level of the skill) should be added onto string for when it successfully activates. It is so unreliable, I think it should quite a high potential.

The ability is somewhat reminiscent of Zed's ult. Similar concept but not guaranteed, thus less reliable (and why it's not Acheron's ult).

He's good against melee champs and non-mobile squishies. Bad against evasive squishies/kiting.
