(Champion Idea) Veridia, the Mark of Vengence
Hi Summoners, this Thread is about a Champion idea I came up with. Veridia is an AP melee assassin that, like most assassins, has a terrible early game, but does great in the late game. The names for all of her abilities and damage for them is interchangable, I just want to get her concept across.
**Passive: Code of Twilight **(two part passive)
Gathering Shadows: Veridia passivly stores Gathered Darkness, which she uses to cast her spells. Max of 500 Gathered Darkness, Regenerates 25 per second and when she kills a minion, monster, or enemy Champion, she gains 25 Gathered Darkness. When she reaches full 500 Gathered Darkness, Veridia's next ability will have a 100% chance to apply Share the Suffering.
Share the Suffering: Veridia has a chance to do bonus damage to enemy Champions with her abilities.Think of it as a crit strike for spells. 5 /10/15/20/25/30% Chance to do bonus damage. 30/50/70/90/110/130 + 20% of AP for bonus spell damage.
Eldritch Strike, Q: Veridia withdraws dark energy and launches in target direction dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit. Damage: 25/50/75/100/125 + 60% of AP Cooldown: 2 seconds Cost: 50 Gathered Darkness
Silhouette, W: Veridia expends a large amount of her Darkness to form a protective shield against Champion spells. If a spell hits Veridia while it is active, she will turn invisible for 1.5 seconds, leap a great distance away and leave a clone in her place. Veridia takes no damage for the spell and jumps away from whoever it was the casted the spell. Shield Duration: 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 Cooldown: 40/35/30/25/20 Cost: 200
Dark Hex, E: Veridia curses target enemy, dealing magic damage and marking them for 3 seconds. Any spell that ignites the mark will apply Share the Suffering. Damage: 100/130/160/190/220 + 80% of AP Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 Cost: 100 Gathered Darkness
Sweet Revenge, R: Veridia leaps to target enemy Champion dealing a large amount of magic damage and marking them. If the marked target is killed, Veridia jumps back to where she casted the spell. Damage: 100/250/400 + 100% of AP Cooldown: 50/40/30 Cost: 250 Gathered Darkness

At a young age, Veridia's quiet Ionian village was ransaked by a Noxian raid party. She hid under her bed and watched helplessly as her parents were slaughtered by a lone axe bearing soldier. She never could forget the sight of her mother's blood dripping off of the blade of that axe. When the chaos had finally ended nothing was left of the village excpet for the ashes of it's houses and the bodies of it's citizens. She swore that she would avenge her family, even if it meant killing the ones who did this to her home. For years, she travled across all of Runeterra in search of the power she would need to get revenge on Noxus. She did anything to grow stronger. She didn't care the cost of her actions, she had no regrets. Veridia gave away everything to learn new techniques to kill. During her time in the Shadow Isles, she met a demon who was willing to teach her and ancient shadow magic, lost in time. But in return, the demon wanted her soul, once she had completed her task of vengence. She didn't hesitate to accept the transaction. She left the Shadow Isles in search of more knowledge. In her travels, she heard rumors of the League of Legends, a place for her to hone her skills and possibly settle the score with Noxus and the one who killed her parents. She is now regarded as on of the greatest assassins in the League.
THIS IS NOT A FINAL DRAFT! All I really wanted was the second part of the passive, the spell crit idea, the rest just came with it. Again, all the names and numbers can be changed if she does to much damage. If she gets 500 AP, her Q alone, if it applies her passive, would deal 625 damage, and it is on a 2 second CD so that may be an issue. Please tell me what you think of her, and hey, if it gets enough likes, who knows, maybe Riot will make her. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and I hope you will too.
