The only issue I have is its brightness. I personally don't have a lot of desktop icons, but if I did the brightness would create a lot of clutter I feel along with them.
Other than that it looks like a really good job ^_^

I have a second version where you can place icons on top and bottom layer, clear your desktop too, im currently using my ezreal wallpaper and it looks really good with about 10 desktop icons at most right now
