Champion Suggestion: Pui Chan the Kung Fu Pioneer
Pui chan, Kung fu pioneer Faction Demacia but has ties with bandle city and Ionia as well.
Lore: High above the city of Bandle City lays the Sablestone mountains. On these mountains a secret society and village of monks train for battle. Here lies the secret Temple of Wudan. Late one night a mysterious noise arose from the chamber door and the monks awoke to a strange basket on their doorstep. The monks opened the basket to find a babbling baby boy holding a note that simply read "my name is Pui Chan". No one knew how anyone found this dojo but seeing how the boy was in desperate need of food and clothing they took him in. For many nights the monks fought over what to do with the child. Some suggested they bring the child into Bandle City. Others suggested the child be blinded and sent away for discovering their secret location. Finally after much debate they arrived at an agreement. Seeing how the child was abandoned, in need of shelter, and had already entered their home the monks decided they would train him and raise him as their own. They soon discovered that the boy was unlike the other monks.
They would often find him goofing off instead of training. The Wudan monks used swords and other weaponry for fighting and thought weapon fighting to be one of the noblest of pursuits. But Pui Chan was terrible with weapons. What he lacked in skill he made up for in mind. He would often find himself challenged by fellow monks who would lunge at him with weapons of all kinds but rather than use his own he would often resort to using his fists. He was by far the most meditative and open minded of all of the students. He felt a weapon was a tool to hide behind, a discipline that was completely opposite of his mental training. "If all are linked then to take the life of another is heresy". He would mock the other monks with movements and skills that would, impair or imprison them rather than cut or slice them. Eventually he decided to develop this further and actually started fighting without a weapon all together. Rather than spar with the other students he would often study their movements and learn how they can be manipulated and countered with basic body movements. Overtime he honed his skills to the point where he could counter any opponent and disable them without ever taking a single blow.
The Headmasters clinging to their old ways saw the boy was different and scolded him for it saying he did not have the mindset of a true warrior. They were outraged that the young boy was making a fool of their greatest students. The high master Ziyang was different. Rather than mock the boy he made him an offer. He offered to train the boy personally and to teach him discipline and in return the boy would have to teach him the skills. The two developed together both spiritually and physically and overtime they became inseparable.
Hoping to develop further the two would often venture off into the world together studying the movements of various animals in an attempt to recreate them in a way that would benefit their new found martial art. Eventually Ziyang became the leader of the Temple. It was only fitting that he would appoint his top student to a high ranking position. He appointed Pui Chan to the highest seat on his personal council but Pui Chan declined seeking aspirations to teach others of his skills. He wanted others to learn of his marvelous new style of fighting. He dared to venture out into the real world and teach outsiders of his new skills. The other Headmasters scolded him for this, but once again Ziyang was different and encouraged him to do what made him happy. Pui Chan opened his own Dojo just outside of Demacia which he named Wah Lum school of martial arts. He taught anyone who wanted to learn. During his term of military service his unique brand of fighting sparked the interest of the Noble Families. Eventually after much consideration Jarven came to Pui Chan seeking his assistance on the Fields of Justice and appointed him a high seat on the Demacian War Council where he would direct and train the military from the comfort of his dojo. Eventually the number of new recruits dwindled as new more imposing Noxian and Void Scourge came forth. Seeing no other choice Pui Chan decided to join the League himself in one last attempt to push back the new forces and preserve the Demacian way of life.
"What is alive must remain so, to prevent the death of the nation, to preserve balance in all, even death."- Pui Chain

His basic attacks generate 3 chi on hit while his stance changes cost 10 chi to change. Chi has a cap at 200 and at 50 chi pui chan's becomes attune with nature granting him a small damage reduction while in combat and a small damage bonus while out of combat. But this takes focus causing Pui Chan to lose 3 chi per second until he has has 0 chi disabling the effect. At 100 chi Pui Chan becomes one with the world, making him able to manipulate the natural pull and flow of energy, allowing him to influence his enemies causing every fourth basic attack to pull all the enemies in a line and every fifth basic attack taunt a single target for a short duration but this takes additional focus. As an effect Pui Chan will lose an additional 3 chi per second until he reaches 50 chi disabling the effect once he has reached 50 chi. At 150 chi Pui Chan becomes one with Time and space granting him 60 bonus movement speed but this takes more focus and an additional 3 chi per second. At 175 Chi Pui Chan will become one with the galaxy causing him to gain 25% tenacity but this requires even more focus as an effect he will lose an additional 4 chi until he has reached 150 chi disabling the effect. At 200 chi Pui Chan becomes one with the universe consuming all chi and causing him to temporarily become ultra powerful for 20 seconds. While in this state Pui Chan does not passively generate chi nor do his basic attacks, his stances don't cost chi to change, his cooldown reduction limit is raised to 80%, he gains 80% cooldown reduction, in addition to the other three chi effects, Pui chan can only be one with the universe once every 30 seconds and the cooldown occurs at the end of the 20 second buff. Passive: Wǔshì jīngshén: all of pui chan's abilities are unlockable at level 1 and there are 5 ranks in each. (Note while Pui Chan has all of his abilities unlockable at level 1 and there are 5 ranks in each he can still gain at max 18 ability levels.)
(note 0-50 chi 0 chi lost. 50-100 chi 3 chi lost per second. 100-150 chi 6 chi lost per second. 150-175 chi 9 chi lost per second 175-200 chi 13 chi lost per second.) (Note The damage reduction occurs after armor/magic resist - calculation. Example: 300 armor, 300 damage-75% from armor=75 damage-(10% of armor) 10% of 300 is 30 so 75-30=45 damage he would receive) (note: Pui Chan does not automatically gain his passive effects he has to achieve them through chi and his passive chi gain does not increase at any level)

Continuous effect: pui chan's basic attacks heal him for a small amount. And generate additional chi on hit.
Note on abilities: Continuous effects only take place while in that particular stance. In order to change stances the initial effect must have ended before a stance change can be made also note that the continuous effect is shared with the next stance for three seconds similar to how sona's stances work. Also note on monkey style in order to change the stance to monkey style you must choose a direction before the continuous effect can come into play.
About the Lore: The temple of the Wudan was established years ago when a group of Ionian settlers and monks left their respective temples to avoid the games and in hopes to discover and experience new experiences outside of the Island. After traveling some time and experiencing the hostility of the mainland, these Ionian settlers established their temple on the top of the Sablestone Mountains in an attempt to cut themselves off from the judging public to develop their skills as warriors. Seeing weapons as one of the few things they could use to fend of intruders, they developed their skills with various weapons and martial arts. They named their Temple Wudan after master Wudan the first and most skilled Headmaster of all of the Ionian temples. Master Wudan was a very skilled weapon and martial arts master so the name was fitting of the temple. Several years later Pui Chan was left at the temple and the outside world they wanted to keep out so many years ago was literally at their doorstep.
About the concept: Pui Chan is a highly situational, mobile, basic attack oriented, fighter/tank who excels at keeping pressure on the enemy team with enough cc/disruption to keep him alive and well while your teammates rough up the enemy team. Pui Chan's strengths vary greatly depending on what stance he is in. His passive is designed in such a way that it is difficult to get up to 200 but easy to stay at 40 chi. This is so he can easily keep changing stances if he needs to and so that his passive chi regen can proc his first passive easily while out of battle and it can be maintained while in battle fairly easily. The more chi/passive effects he has the harder it is to maintain them, this rewards careful timing of stance changes and effects. 200 chi is possible but very difficult to obtain, requiring maxed out attack speed and a maxed out r, this way a good Pui Chan player can utilize this ability in the place of an ultimate and could more easily maintain harassment. While his q is great for blinding/ability blocking it has an extremely limited range and is only good at ability blocking so ranged basic attacks or blinds/movement impairing effects are extremely effective counter measures. His w is great for either disengaging, engaging, or keeping pressure with a range increase to basic attacks but can be countered by not using abilities within the first 2 seconds and staying out of range by using either movement impairing effects or blinds/ranged attacks/pressure. His E is fantastic for gap closing/resistance boosting but can be easily countered by running towards Pui Chan/making him roll too far or by dodging it completely and maintain pressure with abilities rather than basic attacks. His R: is fantastic for removing movement impairing effects and keeping up sustain but can be easily countered by blinds or constant pressure/harassment from ranged basic attacks or abilities because the range is very limited. Damage over time effects are also an effective counter measure.
As you can see Pui Chan has a lot of versatility in his kit but he can easily be countered by ranged harrassment/careful timing with basic attacks and abilities. As an effect Pui Chan is very strong against melee opponents like riven, garen, jax, trundle, fiora, rammus, and Shen but weak against ranged/cc based opponents like morgana, teemo, fiddlesticks, draven, twitch or stealth/trap based opponents like shaco, zed, wukong, kha'zix, noctourne, caitlynn and nidalee
