Clash of Diana and the Solari

Ever since Diana came out, I've wondered where Riot was going to take her and her story.

She exists as the only (known) antithesis to the Solari people, the only moon worshipper. If the Solari were distressed enough by her alternative thinking to schedule an execution, why haven't they dispatched an assassin or a garrison of troops to kill her. If there's anything a religion refuses to tolerate, it's competition. So I feel they should be hunting her, trying to disable any attempt for a competing religion/way of life to take hold. Likewise, why hasn't Diana become a preacher of sorts? I know she's vengeful and wants to witness the fall of the Solari, so why hasn't she accumulated a massive following and marched them to the gates with rage in their hearts? She should link with Elise and her followers, and seek to usher in an era of eternal darkness, where the moon reigns supreme and Elise and her spiders rule the night and feast on the captive Solari.

This war would provide SEVERAL opportunities for new champs, new game modes, new skins, new map? (Mt. Targon anyone) Could you imagine Celestial Elise? drools or a Fallen Leona/Pantheon more drool

Expanding on Mt. Targon, we don't know ~~ANYTHING~~ about it, or about the hidden temple where Diana found her suit/crescent sword and the people who built it/worshipped in it. Were there once two separate people? the Solari and this unknown moon-based group? Were they always enemies or did their relationship sour?

Additionally, Diana could request the aid of Noxus and bring yet another territory into their grasp. This in turn would attract Demacia and provide more conflict for the warring nations. (ALSO MORE SKINS)

Just an idea, would LOVE to see it happen though. Diana is so obscure. Fix it Riot <3

Omg need. This would be wonderful! I might actually do some splash art for some of those skins... and totally want to come up with a champion that more or less follows(worships like a saint?) diana... that could be really neat~

I'm not feeling the idea of Diana aligning herself with the factions, especially Shadow Isles, but I would love to see the story of her, Leona, Panth, and the rest of Mt. Targon moved forward.

The alliance aspect is a little shaky, but I think she DEFINITELY needs allies of some sort, whether they be already established champions or new ones, she can't go at it alone.

Why not? Diana's always struck me as the strong, solitary type much like Riven or Yasuo . Few other champions are known as well for being so removed from the rest of the League without having friends or allies of any sort except maybe Syndra .

Both Riven and Yasuo are being ruthlessly chased by their respective enemies, they themselves aren't the aggressors. Whereas Diana seeks to take the fight to the Solari, she is the aggressor. So it would be beneficial to have backup or a group of followers to show the Solari that their way of life is truly in danger. They would not fear one person, especially with Leona in their ranks. An army following Diana would intimidate them, and force them to see her as a true threat.

Somehow I doubt the Solari would say "Oh so you slandered our faith, escaped execution, killed our elders and destroyed our temple? Eh, whatever. It's a free world, you can do what you want." The real difference between Diana and Riven or Yas is that her power and enemies are based on religious faith. Much like most Catholics wouldn't see a huge difference if they had to face Lucifer alone or with 1000 demons, if Diana's power alone doesn't scare the Solari, an army at her side probably won't do much to shake them. To say nothing of the fact that the Rakkor would almost certainly take the Solari's side and any army formed against them would make them even more happy.
