Sorry about the small picture size! I couldn't find any others that were large, so, this had to do! Anyway, here's another champion I came up with, who uses the shadow of illusions to trick his opponents. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, and children of all ages! Please put your hands together for the mastermind of mirrors, the count of trickery, and the magician that defied death ten times over! Please welcome Rey, the Master of Illusion!

***Rey: The Master of Illusion***

“If you look too closely, you will fail to see what is right in front of you…”

*-Rey***

Twisted Fate and Le Blanc: these two were the epitome of the magician’s life and tricks in Runeterra. However, the people of Demacia and Noxus fail to see their obvious secrets that they hold every day. That’s because they were looking too close. In the shadows, there lies a young man who tricked all of Runeterra into believing the most obvious lie he ever told: his death. Rumors whisper of him being the son of a trickster god, who would use his power to cheat death over and over again. To him, life is nothing more than a false illusion that is waiting to pull back the curtains during the prestige. To Rey, his life was born out of an illusion.

Rey learned his first card trick when he was the age of three; which was the sleight-of hand movement of two cards. Rey’s father took pride in this accomplishment, and saw a magical future for his son. His family was part of a famous circus that traveled across the great cities of Runeterra, who dazzled spectators alike with their magical performances and spectacular feats of acrobatic prowess. Rey was born into the life of the show; at the age of seven, he was able to break out of an iron-cast safe using nothing but a single strand of his hair. When he reached early adulthood, he shocked spectators by sealing himself in a blazing furnace of dragon fire, and casually walked out of the steel coffin, unharmed. Rey was destined for greatness, but it began with a tragic prologue.

Rey returned to his caravan one Noxian evening to find it set ablaze by Noxian officials. Apparently, his family’s caravan owed a debt towards a great Noxian general, but the failed to pay it in time, culminating to their agonizing demise. Rey was furious and angered at the lowly subjugation of his family, and set out to murder the Noxian general. Armed with only playing cards, a top hat, mirrors, and an Ionian cloak that would shield him from any vision, he infiltrated the home of the Noxian general, and slaughtered every palace servant and guard he could find. When he reached the general’s bedroom, Rey wasted no time in cutting the murderer’s throat with a precise throw of his last playing card. Rey though he had done the right thing, until he saw the general’s infant son, staring at him with tears in his little eyes as he saw the downfall of his father by a simple magician. Rey stared in horror as he suddenly realized what he failed to see: with the death of the Noxian general, his infant son was left alone in the world without a father. Rey now saw himself as a murderer, and he swiftly knelt down towards the child, and begged forgiveness. However, the child screamed in horror as Rey put his hands toward the little boy’s face, and immediately, Noxian guards led by Darius surrounded Rey, and prepared to deliver the final blow. But, in one blinding flash, Rey was teleported out of the room and into the unknown. All that was left was a playing card at the little boy’s feet, which the boy picked up, and to his horror, saw himself hugging the very murderer of his father.

It turns out Twisted Fate, the infamous gambler of Runeterra, teleported Rey towards his secret hideout. Rey was first suspicious of the Card Master’s proposal to master true magic, but after learning about his scarred past and the similar struggles the two had to go through, Rey accepted to learn from Twisted Fate as his apprentice. In just four years, Rey mastered the lethality of the playing card, how to create a mirror image of himself using two small mirrors, mastered his newfound arcane abilities, and even how to cheat death. Rey used all of these techniques to infiltrate the Noxian arcane society, the Black Rose, and steal the entire collection of ancient tomes and powerful scrolls. Le Blanc, however, subdued the blasphemer, and ordered him to be hung by the neck in front of the people of Noxus. When the lever was pulled and the body dropped, Rey’s body was merely just a straw stuffing of a perfect human carcass.

Rey is a traveling magician now, taking after his family’s business and traveling around Demacia, Piltover, Shurima, and Ionia, delivering daring acts of insanity in front of his audience. Noxus, however, was Rey’s last destination. It was where he discovered the tragic illusion of life and the monster he had been hiding inside himself his entire life. Now, Noxus was on a manhunt for the very magician that tricked the entire populace. But, Rey has other plans. There will come a day when the world stops for one second, and miss the most obvious thing they see right in front of them. And when that day comes, Rey will be standing in the middle of the spectacle, surrounded by thunderous applause and shouts of joyous encore.

*
A perfect life is an illusion. For Rey, it’s merely the cold reality of life that is an illusion.

Introduction Quote

*“Tricks and Illusions? You chose the right guy for this job.” *

Taunts

“Waiting for the prestige? It’s an illusion. I already beat you!

“Just one simple snap….is all it takes.”

Joke

“A hat is the most important object for a magician…And, sometimes his little assistant too!”

“Wonder what Avogadro’s doing….Hey, little guy! You ready for lunch when this is over? (Chuckles)”

“Behold, my apprentice….The amazing rabbit Avogadro! Isn’t he a show? (laughs)”

There is Rey juggling a number of clown balls, Rey wearing his top hat with Avogadro dancing on the top, Rey shuffling cards, and Rey practicing with his prismatic mirrors. *

“Alright, time for roll call!”

“Let’s wrap it up, boys!”

“Good show, guys!”

Dance Animation

Rey snaps his fingers and four of his mirror images appear right in front of him. After crossing their arms, Rey and his magicians perform Gentleman from the Korean Pop Star PSY.

*Rey stumbles to the ground, landing on his knees, gasping for life. As he falls to the ground, his body disperses in a bright flash of light. All that was left of Rey was his top hat and a single blue playing card. Which one was the real Rey? *

“Argh! It’s….just….an illusion….”

“Urahhh! N-No………”

“Hngh! Nice…..try……”

Good idea,

However, if u have been noticing, riot has been removing champions that have global abilities (other than lined skillshot ults)

Twisted Fate back in the day had the global teleport, and riot removed it and gave it a really large range, but not global

Rey probably should have to teleport but not 100% global

And the mana costs on ur abilities are ridiculously high on Rey. Keep in mind that even Anivia who is a Mage type figure had their mana costs reduced to below 100.

maybe the same range as TwistedFate and Pantheon seems like a mix of tf, talon, and leblanc to me for some reason
