Something for the e-sports that could change league in many ways!

I have had this idea a long while, playing league for almost 2 years now, but I have never thought of this for the pro play. Instead of every year club vs club worlds, we can have every 2 years countries vs countries. Like the football world cup, this honestly excites me to see where my country would fit in the world rankings for the world. I don't high hopes, but i would rather cheer for my country than cheering for a team/club that i don't even feel proud for cheering.

We can maybe have the club vs club yearly and the international countries vs countries every 2 years or so! E.g: Poland vs Greece (just a random example)[slayer-jinx-catface]

Actually I think there is some tournament that is held that puts countries vs countries (granted, I don't think they're major countries like China, Korea, USA, etc, but they might) in Korea. I don't know what it's called, but it's referenced in I think Episode 2-3 of their Live/Play miniseries (very good imo) when it follows a team from Israel who was competing against countries like Switzerland, so you can probably find something about it there.

Country vs country every 2 year might happen but for something that is trying to grow going for something that needs people to stay interested in to make it grow right now isn't a good idea.

Lets say E-Sports becomes a big deal sometime down the road and Riot and other E-sport companies don't need to worry about making a name for themselves I'm sure they would do 100% literally WORLDS team with such as Team USA-Japan-China-Mexico etc etc.

While I do like the Country vs Country I still would want multiple teams consisting from each country, I mean who would you have represent team "USA" ... TSM all the members from that 1 team and it kinda limits the players from each region.

Could do a Group Stage consisting from each region for example Team USA could be a group with TSM-C9-CLG-IMT and they all play each other similar to how the group stage at Worlds is at the moment. The top 2 teams get the "easier" side of the bracket while the other 2 teams are either eliminated or get the "harder" side of the bracket and vice versa for each other country.

Overall I do think something like this will happen in the future. Nice post and Have a Good One

All Stars. The tournament you're looking for where the best players on each region play on the same team? It's All Stars.
