I'm not sure if I missed this somewhere - but why is worlds so damned early this year?
Last year it started in October.
This year.... August? Why? My only guess is that because of the changes to the NA and EU LCS, and given that we're on a circuit point system... that we're going to start having winter splits now....
This has been bothering me for a while, any insight would be appreciated.

In late August there are EU and NA LCS finals, and after those there will be the tournaments to determine the third seed for each of those regions

Honestly I like most of the changes they've made, though admittedly I don't like the concept of circuit points all that much. I just get the feeling that all of this points to a Winter Split starting this winter, and I'd just like to know for sure one way or another.

Kizzir1 votesMAYBE they will transition into 3 splits? Or they give a longer break so players can stream and teams can succesfully (lookin at you TDK) make changes. I agree that the break is huge, im like a drug addict i meed my lcs fix, i cant go that long with out it.
