Severe lack of LCS champion diversity

I don't know about anybody else but I am extremely disappointed in lack of champion diversity in LCS play. It is honestly so boring to watch the games nowadays as a pool of only about 16 total champions get played in any given game(with a rare event of some pocket pick). I think if Riot really wants to push for more champions being played(and they say that they do, the 5 ban system was supposed to help this) then what they need to do is implement a cap on the number of times that a certain champion can be played in a series. This literally forces other champions to be chosen and brings about more exciting matchups and series where you actually need to be the better team to win, not just pick the better champions.
