Middle School/High School Competitive for League of Legends?

I'm only 13 years old and i was been thinking: "Should they have competitive League of Legends at a young age?" So if Riot Games have Competitive for League and have teams (C9, FNC, SKT, etc.), do you guys think that they will have that?

I doubt Riot would do much more than host one tourney a year focusing on multiple age groups. Large-scale leagues of minors would be hard to organize for Riot.

Riot supports online tournament organizations through their prized events system. Anyone can participate in these. This is the closest you are going to get until you're 17 or 18 and can compete in official Riot events. Dealing with minors, especially paying them, is a very complicated process and it is much easier for Riot to simply say that you must be a certain age than to have to deal with a lot of child labor laws and other legal complications.

Not gunna happen.

I coach our competitive League Club at the High School in the district I work for and we have a strict no one under 16 rule because of the regulations for tournament enrollment and transportation issues.

From what I can tell the percentage of 13yr olds who can actually manage to show up to practice, take it semi seriously, and then perform under pressure is incredibly low these days.

The first year we did it we let anyone attend and 16+ could compete, but it was a total mess. The second year I only allowed 15 people total to join and everyone was 16+ and we did well and did not have any of the constant emotional and personal issues as the year before.

I don't think you will be seeing any organized competitive league for those under 13 on anything other than a case by case local level.
