As title says. Really my idea is just to move it to a time when I actually care to watch it. I've not watched a match of Rift Rivals this year and I've plenty of regular split action to catch up on. Maybe I'm just too old or too busy being employed to be the target audience of Rift Rivals, but I think it'd be better moved to a segment of the year when there's little new Esports content to watch.
I say hold it during MSI. The #1 teams are already playing each other. Maybe have the 2, 3, and 4 teams play. Better yet. 2-10. Boom. See whose region is best top to bottom.
Believe it or not it was also quite hard to balance Rift Rivals Blue on my end with work, SGDQ week and CEO weekend going on. RR Red is gonna be an easier effort even if it's VOD catching cause 2 of those 3 things won't be going on!
That being said though, I'd prefer Rift Rivals to be integrated into All Stars in some way. The event was intended to be more international showing but with this year cutting the Purple, Green, and Yellow tournaments, it did lose some if not all of its value
