I haven't really followed the Challenger Series much this season as I took a lot of time off with Overwatch coming out, there's a lot of big names still around though that I recognize.

Right now Gold Coin is Leading 1-0 over eUnited

The big problem with EUN all year has me thinking that they'll be a lot like TLA from last year: although they have a few top-tier players (let's not forget that goldenglue basically dominated every game without Hai in it), Mid/JG basically have to carry every game for them in order for them to stand a chance. GCU can theoretically carry off 2.5 players, so I trust them more in this series.

Before tonight, my money was on GCU and it shall remain on GCU. We're 2-1 in and so far both teams have shown me something impressive (one more than the other).

The question I have though is how much can they pick up off of the next two weeks looking ahead at the bottom 4/5 in the LCS for promotion. Doing the proper analysis while those teams are fighting hard to stay out of relegation might serve as their advantage given how inconsistent or low table consistent (NV's case with inability to act beyond 20-30 min frequently) those lower table teams are being presently.
