The system allows people to gangup on people for no reason

I just got a game where there was a smurf Lee Sin on the other team and he was very good and I was jungle on our team and he kept invading me very well and made my life difficult and also got kills in every lane pre 10 minutes. There was a Duo bot lane that started raging insane amounts of cursing and hate speech at me, I laughed it off like usual and tried to gank elsewhere but then the duo convinved the mid and top to gang up on me and they literally spend the entire game cursing and berating me and convinced the other team I was toxic also and got them to all report me for verbal abuse when I literally said just a few things like " haha okay" or "Well lee invaded me multiple times and I diddnt get any help" but since they convinced everyone to report me for verbal abuse I get a chat restriction while the ragers get off scott free

tl:dr Duo bot convinced my team and enemy team to all report me though I literally wasnt doing anything wrong, I get chat restriction, they got off free.

If you are reported frequently enough for Verbal Abuse, then it triggers a scan of your chat logs. If there wasn't anything report-worthy in your chat logs, then you wouldn't have been punished.

IIRC, the system checks the frequency of games in which you are reported; it doesn't matter if you receive 1 report or 9, it treats them similarly.

It takes more than one game of reports to be punished anyways unless you are doing something extremely grievous.

I know, but it shouldnt trigger on a game where people report just because they know it will work. Logs HAVE to be reviewed otherwise people are just abusing the auto system. Though Im filing to customer support

I think you replied to the wrong comment but, that means you need to file customer support about email issues specifically. Also, it should appear again in your client if you still have he ban

As I said in my very first sentence, if you are reported frequently enough for Verbal Abuse, then it triggers a scan of your chat logs.

If nothing worthy of punishment is found in the logs, then it won't punish you for it.

But it ignores every bit of hate speech I got directed at me for no reason

Those people are not treated any differently. If they act like this repeatedly and are being reported for it, they will be punished just the same. However they acted, it still doesn't excuse other people acting the same way though; be the better person. Mute and report them, don't make it worse.

I agree 100% and that's what Im saying, I use to be like that but this time I literally didnt cause or continue any of it but I have to pay for it because of a faulty system. The system works like 60% of the time, theres a bunch that needs to be adjustedd

What happends if you get matched with 4 premades and they all report you? If you report them back will your reports weight the same as all 4 of them?‎

Not exactly. Basically, it's nearly impossible to get punished by 4 premades just because they gang up and all report you. It doesn't matter whether you "counter report" them or not.

All systems these days will measure each report and the contents of the game to determine if the reports were accurate, so if you did nothing negative, you have nothing to worry about.

Accidently closed it before taking a screenshot. ANd I know what you're thinking, I would too, I'll even admit sometimes Im salty but Ive been making it a point to just laugh things off in game.

Even then, it only shows my replies instead of all the cursing and insults I got from 4 people

I know you were toxic in game too, and thats not Ok. You wouldn't get a chat restriction because of nothing it just doesn't happen.

However what I can tell you is that, I sympathize with you raging at them, cyber bullying is real on League of Legends and what makes it worse is that if for some reason 4 people are harassing you, you can be seen as spam reporting for reporting them all if they only harassed you a bit but it seemed much more just because of ALL the harassment you were receiving that game.

League is pretty broken for that, 1 person gets punished for raging the rest get off scot free until they do it a couple games in a row.

Sorry that happened to you, but in the future just mute them and report
