I love/hate them though.

They always start off SO GOOD. Then they disappoint very hard. Like I have only followed them in MSI and now Worlds, but I hope they bounce back. MSI they started off very great, cool teamfights. Then they just started dropping the ball. Even in winnable games, they just dig the hole deeper and deeper. Like get it together and I am sure you can at least put up a fight this game. I understand a bit of the philosophy. Thinking they can't compete with a standard game. But they are good (well maybe not Archie). Sure certain teamcomps may be more early oriented, but if you are losing don't get desperate. Once they fix that mental flaw, they will be good.

Especially want to note, I want to see NoWay do a real teamfight.

The funny part about them is that apparently they were far more "civil" in their own region. While they did pull out the occasional off-meta pick (I remember hearing something about optimus pulling out flash/ignite stormraiders renekton mid into a blind pick talon), the loss of their toplaner/having archie sub in pushed them towards a teamfighting team who sometimes did 4-1's. While what they're doing is interesting and will probably get them a few sponsors, after seeing ANX make it to quarterfinals it kinda annoys me that they're probably going to go 2-4 and not make any sort of definitive impact for their region.

Right, they say they play like this because they know they are outskilled. Although I think they have the individual skills (except Archie), but it is true that they might not have the experience of lategame pressure fights, but now is the chance to learn it.

I like the unorthodox style too. But if you draft it everytime, you become a gimmick. They need a strong regular game as well and they need to be able (early) in game to say this isn't working, let's play safe. They should have some confidence in their skills.

In a way, the play "kinda" makes sense as certain teams will be unprepared for things (like how Albus Nox pulled out brand in the wildcard qualifiers, won 1 game where likkrit went like 10-2-18, and had it banned by every other wild card and worlds team afterwards). That being said, I guess I'm just not a fan of their overall playstyle and recklessness. Off-meta is and will always be the way for weaker teams to beat stronger teams, what they're doing seems more in line with the bronze 4 ghost/ignite singed I get in every other game who buys a sightstone and two mana crystals, dies 10 times in the enemy jungle, and claims that what he's doing "works".

But I don't think gigabyte is bronze. Otherwise they wouldn't be in a pro championship.

I don't care if they win or not, they put on an entertaining game, that's actually fun to watch.

They aren't bronze, but some of the stuff they did vs LZ was ridiculously questionable. Having mordy lane with karma at lv1 (despite "poke supports" being quite terrible with him), the lv2 teleport he did onto the rapidly dying turret, and the constant lane-swap shenanigans that from what I can understand had them on average 2 levels down across all lanes. The stuff they did vs fnatic was entertaining, the stuff they did vs longzhu looked like the last week of EULCS where all the teams pulled out solo-queue cheese and had no idea how to use it properly.

That Morde was painful to watch though.

They shouldn't go commando like that when they are already losing terrain.

The SKT game was painful at MSI too. Maybe it didn't start off as bad.... no it probably did. Like they had many chances to pull back and say we can win with a different strategy, instead they kept fighting Peanut for some reason =\ please stop GAM fam.

If they kept the roster from MSI, I would have honestly had them 2nd in groups but once I saw Archie as the new top, it was over. However, they can still make it out of groups but it won't be easy !
